10 Angel Garza Matches WWE Needs To Book

While it's sometimes confusing how WWE makes decisions about who to push, there's no mistaking why they chose Angel Garza. In addition to being a member of one of the most prestigious wrestling families in the world, Angel is handsome, charismatic, and incredibly talented in the ring.

In his short WWE career, he has already held the NXT Cruiserweight Championship once and will almost certainly take home more gold in the coming months and years. But along his path to the top of the company, there are a few matches WWE needs to make sure they book.

10 Daniel Bryan

When people talk about their Mount Rushmores of the greatest wrestlers of the modern era, there are more than a few who would put Daniel Bryan on that list. His feud with The Authority and his definitive victory over them at WrestleMania XXX will be remembered as one of the most legendary angles of all time. Daniel Bryan is known for being an outstanding in-ring performer. He and the young gun Angel Garza would tear up a WWE ring together. It's another WrestleMania match in the making.

9 Cesaro

There is a good chance that Cesaro will retire as the greatest wrestler to never hold one of the big belts in WWE. The man is a skilled, agile powerhouse who can energize a crowd with a few simple moves. The fans love him and would pop if he ever won the Universal Championship.

Inexplicably, WWE management seems to be against the idea. In the meantime, a feud between Cesaro and Garza would help elevate the younger star, and turn in some stellar matches.

8 Kushida

WWE has a rough history with talent imported from Japan over the last few years.  Shinsuke Nakamura, Asuka, Io Shirai, and Kairi Sane have all done well in NXT, though they have found much less support on the main roster. Frankly, Nakamura should be on his second reign as Universal Champion by now. Despite his talent, Kushida seems to be on an arc that will take him back to NJPW as soon as possible, much like Kenta. But before he leaves, a match with Angel Garza is a must book.

7 Big E

The powerhouse of The New Day is often speculated as the member of the long time team with the most potential to break out and make a run for a major championship. If he doesn't win either the Universal or WWE Championship one day, the vast majority of fans will be shocked.

He and Garza would have an interesting match as it would pit size and strength versus speed and agility. It's one of those classic David and Goliath stories the WWE loves to tell.

6 "Flash" Morgan Webster

A key member of the NXT UK roster, "Flash" Morgan Webster doesn't get enough credit for what he brings to the WWE. The high energy entertainer isn't afraid to do what needs to be done to put a great match together. "The Modfather's" look is based on the Mod subculture of Great Britain in the 1960s, helping him standout even more. Putting him in the ring was Angel Garza could only lead to a fast-paced match filled with unforgettable spots.

5 Jey Uso

Jey Uso

The Usos might be the best tag team in the WWE, and are definitely one of the best tag teams in the world. Many fans are more interested in The Usos versus The Young Bucks than The Young Bucks versus #FTR, and understandably so.

But while Jimmy is on the shelf dealing with an injury, Jey is on his own. Pitting this high octane performer against a talented cruiserweight like Garza has an epic match written all over it.

4 Adam Cole

The standard-bearer of NXT has been the champion for over a year, which has to come to an end at some point. Even without the championship around his waist, Adam Cole will still prove to be the biggest name on the brand. When his inevitable call up to the main roster happens, Cole is too big and too popular to get caught up in the "call up curse," though fans have thought that before. Both he and Garza have huge egos in the ring, so watching them face-off has a lot of potential.

3 Mustafa Ali

Mustafa Ali

As the most criminally underused superstar on the roster, Mustafa Ali should be on TV a lot more considering his talent. He was building up to a return as the SmackDown Hacker but has subtly been transferred to Raw. He may have taken the gimmick with him but that remains to be seen.

Assuming he doesn't get banished to Main Event with Cedric Alexander and Ricochet, a feud between Ali and Garza has a lot of potential. They would play off each other in the ring nicely.

2 AJ Styles

One of the best in the business today, a feud with AJ Styles could launch Angel Garza to the next level. AJ is part of a group of elite wrestlers who rarely turns in a bad match. He elevates whoever he's across the ring from, and it's not like Garza is a slouch to begin with. The man can go. AJ had an impromptu match with Finn Bálor a few years ago that turned out to be the best match of the year. AJ and Garza could put on that level of a performance.

1 Keith Lee

Keith Lee is built like a super heavyweight but moves like a cruiserweight. On top of that, the man is pure charisma. Every match is a classic, every promo an opus. Like Adam Cole or AJ Styles, Keith Lee is the kind of wrestler the WWE needs to keep booking strongly as there is no ceiling on how far his talent will take him. Putting two skilled, charismatic individuals like Lee and Garza together in the ring is a can't miss opportunity.
