10 Best WrestleMania Attires, Ranked
The event known as WrestleMania is the grandest stage in all of professional wrestling. It's the one night out of the year when the collective eyes of the wrestling world are all focused on WWE and its performers. As a result, most of the performers in the locker room view WrestleMania as their opportunity to show off. Some performers let their in-ring talent do their showing off for them. Other performers capture the attention of the masses with their WrestleMania ring gear.

Over the years we've seen some absolutely stunning and eye-popping attires make their way to the WrestleMania ring. However, a few of them were so stunning and eye-popping, that they stand above the rest.
10 The New Day: WrestleMania 32
The New Day posses some of modern-day pro wrestling's most colorful and creative ring gear. At WrestleMania 32, the trio busted out one of their most memorable cosplay attires. After emerging from a giant box of Booty-O's, Xavier Woods, Big E, and Kofi Kingston showed off their Dragon Ball Z inspired gear.
All 3 men wore Saiyan body armor. Woods and Kingston paid homage to Napa with black armor, and Big E paid homage to Vegeta with white armor. The New Day's ensuing match with The League Of Nations wasn't too memorable, but their ring gear that night won't soon be forgotten.
9 Shawn Michaels: WrestleMania XII
At WrestleMania XII, Shawn Michaels' boyhood dream of being WWE Champion finally became a reality. True to character, Michaels was properly dressed for such a momentous occasion. Pitted against Bret "The Hitman" Hart in a 60 minute Iron Man Match, Michaels, ziplined down to the ring and revealed what would become one of his most iconic attires.

"The Heartbreak Kid" went with white tights and sequenced gold and silver broken hearts. Perhaps the gravitas of the moment elevated the significance of his ring gear that night, but it remains arguably his most remembered ring attire ever. Michaels would continue to impress with his WrestleMania ring gear for years, but none are remembered quite as fondly as his WrestleMania XII gear.
8 Legion Of Doom: WrestleMania XIV
Whether they were The Road Warriors or The Legion Of Doom in WWE, Hawk and Animal always looked the part of intimidating badasses. However, during their 1998 run in WWE, the team's look was beginning to get a bit stale. Their spiked shoulder pads were always fan favorites, but the rest of the presentation needed to be freshened up. After some time away, Hawk and Animal would re-emerge at WrestleMania XIV with some obvious changes.
The L.O.D. was led to the ring by Sunny and sported updated ring gear. Their iconic shoulder pads were made to look a bit more futuristic, both men wore airbrushed hockey masks, and Animal donned short tights rather than long ones. It was a great look, but unfortunately, the new gear only recaptured the team's mystique temporarily.
7 Rey Mysterio: WrestleMania XXVII
In pro wrestling's modern era, one performer has consistently wowed fans with his ring attire, Rey Mysterio. Mysterio has been an absolute showman since his early days in WCW. On wrestling's grandest stage, Mysterio always takes it to another level. The master of the 619 could easily fill half this list on his own with how many incredible attires he's worn at WrestleMania.
One specific Mysterio attire that stood out was his Captain America cosplay at WrestleMania XXVII. Mysterio looked the part of a real-life superhero while taking on "Dashing" Cody Rhodes. It would definitely not be Mysterio's last time winning the WrestleMania fashion show.
6 Ric Flair: WrestleMania XXIV
"Nature Boy" Ric Flair has styled and profiled all across the wrestling world for nearly 50 years. The man with arguably the best robe game in the business quite possibly saved his best for last. In what many fans knew ahead of time would be Flair's final WWE match, "The Man" had one more classic match, and one more grand entrance in store for fans. Flair walked out in a majestic blue robe, that would rival any robe ever worn in professional wrestling.

The gold sequence and white feathers only added to the extravagance of the robe. The iconic robe, or at least pieces of it, would grace the WrestleMania stage again when Flair's daughter, Charlotte, incorporated pieces of it into her first WrestleMania robe.
5 "Macho Man" Randy Savage: WrestleMania VII
"Macho Man" Randy Savage is undoubtedly the originator of eye-popping WrestleMania attire. At WrestleMania VII, Savage put his career on the line in a match against The Ultimate Warrior. Warrior, who also put his career on the line, deserves an honorable mention for his gear that night as well, as it was exceptional. However, the star of the show was Savage.
If there was a chance it might be his final match ever, Savage was going to go out with all the pomp and circumstance one would expect from him. "Macho Man" wore a stunning purple and white tight and jacket combination to the ring, along with his signature cowboy hat, also in purple and white. Savage's career would seemingly end that night, but the memory of his iconic ring gear that night has stood the test of time.
4 "Ravishing" Rick Rude: WrestleMania V
There has absolutely never been a performer more braggadocious with his ring attire than "Ravishing" Rick Rude. "The Ravishing One" had a history of mocking his opponents by placing their likeness on the backside of his tights. In Jake Roberts's wife's case, he placed her likeness on his crotch area.
At WrestleMania V, Rude was booked to challenge The Ultimate Warrior for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. It came as a shock to no one when Rude revealed the custom tights he had airbrushed for the event. On the front, Rude had placed the image of the Intercontinental Championship. On his backside, Rude strategically placed an image of The Ultimate Warrior. No performer has had the gall to do something similar at a WrestleMania since.
3 Rey Mysterio: WrestleMania XXV
At WrestleMania XXV, Rey Mysterio was slated to face John Bradshaw Layfield for the latter's Intercontinental Championship. Unsurprisingly, Mysterio emerged with one of his most iconic cosplays ever. After having already paid homage to The Phantom and The Flash, Mysterio continued his comic book character trend by donning Joker inspired ring gear.
Mysterio wore purple ring tights, removable green hair, and had a menacing joker-esque smile on his mask. Mysterio defeated Layfield to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship and "put a smile on the face" of thousands of fans in attendance and at home. Mysterio continues to wear comic book inspired ring attire on the grand stage that is WrestleMania.
2 The Ultimate Warrior: WrestleMania VI
The Ultimate Warrior wore some of the most recognizable ring attire in WWE history. Along with his signature face paint, Warrior's ring attire was always a combination of bright neon colors. At WrestleMania VI, Warrior defended his WWE Intercontinental Champion against Hulk Hogan, who's WWE Championship was also on the line. Dubbed "The Ultimate Challenge" the once in a lifetime clash provided plenty of unforgettable images.

One of those images was The Ultimate Warrior in his orange and yellow trunks with green boots holding WWE's top two prizes. That image is burned into the minds of an entire generation of wrestling fans. The attire, much like the performer, won't be forgotten anytime soon.
1 "Macho Man" Randy Savage: Wrestle Mania III
By the time "Macho Man" Randy Savage entered his second WrestleMania, he was arguably the most well-rounded performer in all of pro wrestling. Not only could Savage deliver in the ring and on the mic, but his character development was lightyears ahead of most of his peers. At WrestleMania III, Savage and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat had what many still consider to be the greatest WrestleMania match ever.
Along with providing fans with the match of a lifetime, Savage left a lasting image with his ring attire. From the shades and robe he wore during his intro to his pink trunks with white stars all the way down to the yellow boots, the attire became legendary. The match and attire have remained a big part of Savage's legacy throughout the years.
