10 Cringey Bella Twins Moments Of Their Careers

The Bella Twins managed to carve out a WWE Hall Of Fame career during their time in the business, and because of that, they were able to achieve plenty of fantastic moments. That was certainly the case as they had memorable matches, storylines, and promos, but it wasn't all perfect.

There were plenty of awkward spots throughout Nikki and Brie's time with the company, with moments that just felt cringey, rather than being organic and enjoyable. These are the types of moments where fans watched through gritted teeth, wishing they hadn't seen what happened due to it just not being that entertaining.

10 Died In The Womb

The storyline that saw Brie and Nikki Bella go against each other was one that people always found difficult to get on board with because everybody knew that they were close in reality. Because of that, they tried to go above and beyond with their segments to push the idea that they hated one another.

That saw Nikki Bella deliver one of the worst promos of all time which saw her claim she wished Brie had "died in the womb," which was a wild comment to make. It's something that just felt so fake and the over the top acting of both didn't help to make this moment feel any better.

9 Growing Up Bella

Another cringey moment that came from the storyline between Nikki and Brie were the 'Growing Up Bella,' segments, which also felt awkward and forced. These would run every week for a while and would see Nikki sit down and explain some of the things Brie did when they were growing up.

The issues were always trivial, which is why fans just couldn't connect to the storyline, and it made the entire storyline even worse, with cringey acting just not giving fans anything to truly dive into.

8 Nikki Bella's Dancing With The Stars Plug

Whenever wrestlers end up getting the chance to appear on television shows or movies outside of WWE it often leads to the company trying to plug it to showcase the popularity of a person. That happened when Nikki Bella was on "Dancing With The Stars" as she got to appear and showcase her partner.

They danced briefly in the ring as Nikki then turned on him, hitting a bodyslam which was a nod to her wrestling fans and that element of her career. However, the mixture of the two moments just felt cringey, with this not being a good segment as far as WWE is concerned.

7 Ding Dong Goodbye

At WrestleMania 37 fans were hoping that Bayley would end up getting a solid spot as that was something she had earned throughout the year with her consistent work. However, she just ended up appearing in random segments throughout the two nights, which culminated in one with the Bella Twins.

They came out as a surprise to attack Bayley, throwing her down the ramp to shut her up. However, this moment ended up being cringey because the fans booed it, as they wanted to see Bayley do more, rather than be embarrassed like that.

6 A Party Flop

An example of some cringeworthy acting took place during a backstage party segment that was supposed to celebrate Nikki Bella's Divas Championship run, only nobody turned up. Everything about this segment was bad, from Nikki stomping around to Brie Bella's sympathetic attempts to calm her sister down.

Things eventually end with Nikki throwing cake at both Brie and Alicia Fox as she screams "good" at them following moments of mocking by Adam Rose and PCB, with this not being a segment they would play in a highlight reel.

5 Gail Kim Romance Reveal

At one point in their WWE careers, a storyline was created where they both fancied Daniel Bryan, attempting to win him over in many backstage segments. It was a fine angle, and one that helped start a genuine romance between him and Brie Bella, but in the end, it led to a cringey moment.

That's because they were able to learn that Bryan was in a kayfabe relationship with Gail Kim, leaving the two of them looking foolish. That was the entire point of the angle, but it certainly was cringey to see.

4 Price Is Right

The Raw celebrity guest host era was not a good one in general, as the vast majority of the celebrities who would come in had no clue about wrestling and were simply there to promote things. Unfortunately for the Bella Twins, they were stuck with the celebrities every single week, without fail.

That led to them being thrown in all manner of situations, including when they were just models for the prizes of WWE's version of "The Price Is Right," which was a cringeworthy moment considering they were supposed to be top superstars.

3 Comments To Kharma

Sometimes WWE scripts things so poorly that it is impossible to not do anything other than cringe when fans hear what they say. That was the case when The Bella Twins appeared to cut a promo on Kharma, who had revealed she was taking time away from WWE due to being pregnant.

For some reason, WWE thought this was a good opportunity for the twins to mock Kharma for her weight as they claimed to have thought she was just fat, which was a ridiculous spot for them to be in.

2 Team Teddy

The Teddy Long vs. John Laurinaitis feud was one that nobody needed to see, but it was a way to fill a WrestleMania card, and of course, WWE saw this as a chance to split the Bella Twins. While they didn't feud here, they just found themselves on opposing sides of the battle.

The night they announced that however, was a cringeworthy one as Nikki Bella took to the microphone to address the masses. She ended up getting the fans to act like cheerleaders as she spelled out Teddy's name, with Brie then never responding, which made for an awkward situation.

1 Jerry Springer Intervention

Without a doubt the most cringe-inducing segment that they have been involved in over the years was when Jerry Springer hosted an intervention between them. This included phone-in videos from their mother and father, while also adding their brother in the ring to try and create a legitimate Jerry Springer moment.

The two of them argue and fall out before eventually starting to fight, with Springer in the middle of it, eventually falling as he was sandwiched between as they all fall to the ground, in what was a ridiculous moment.
