10 Heavy WWE Tag Teams You Forgot About
There have been a lot of tag teams over the years in WWE, some which have been memorable and others that have been more forgettable. The company often likes to pair up a big wrestler with a smaller talent as that can allow for different styles, or two small wrestlers to create fast-paced and exciting contests.

However, there have also been many heavy tag teams with two powerful, strong wrestlers that can dominate inside the ring. The Brothers Of Destruction are a great example of that, but while they are a very memorable team, some of WWE's heaviest partnerships have ended up being forgotten about.
10 Mark Henry & Big Daddy V
Mark Henry has been in quite a few tag teams over the course of his career, but one that was quite forgettable was his partnership with Big Daddy V. The two men worked together in ECW and actually had Matt Striker as their manager.

They weren't a team that really took off or became memorable because of it, but it was clear WWE put them together to play on how heavy they both were. Having them dominate made sense, but they weren't put into any big storylines to truly get over.
9 3 Minute Warning
3 Minute Warning were a true powerhouse tag team with Jamal and Rosey being capable of putting together some fantastic matches. They moved around the ring with great agility and speed but they never quite got the push they deserved as a team.
They were mainly used as protection for Eric Bischoff, as he would call upon them to attack people who angered him or tried to cause him problems. That was great, but it stopped them from getting over as a memorable team in terms of putting on matches and trying to win titles.
8 The Twin Towers
The Twin Towers tag team was one that got put together with the fact they were both heavy certainly in mind. Akeem and The Big Boss Man had quite different gimmicks and because of that they never truly felt like they should have been working together.
While WWE did put some effort into making them an entertaining team and both men were certainly good wrestlers, when fans think about them as talents, this isn't the period of their careers that they go to.
7 Haku & Rikishi
Haku and Rikishi were two excellent wrestlers who worked brilliantly together as talents and had fantastic careers individually. However, when it comes to their time as a tag team, they weren't a memorable partnership, even though they had good chemistry.
Fans remember different aspects of their careers, especially for Rikishi who was involved with Too Cool. However, they certainly did bring plenty of muscle to the ring as they were two heavy wrestlers who were hard-hitting inside the ring.
6 Savio Vega & Razor Ramon
Another heavy tag team that most fans do not remember was between Savio Vega and Razor Ramon. The partnership was one that didn't last too long, which is likely why they ended up being forgotten about as a duo due to the lack of impact they made as partners.
Their time as a team isn't something that people often talk about despite the fact that they are brilliant wrestlers who also had tons of charisma. However, they didn't put together a run that people could truly buy into or remember.
5 Tons Of Funk
Tensai and Brodus Clay are not two wrestlers that most people would put together, mainly because there characters were very different. However, Tensai became a comedic act when working with Brodus in order to fit in with what he did at the time.
While they were able to entertain people with their funny segments, overall they were never a team that got taken seriously and because of that, they haven't exactly gone down in history as a memorable partnership.
4 Baron Corbin & Rhyo
Baron Corbin and Rhyno are two heavy wrestlers who bring a lot of power to the ring during their matches, and that was the main reason for WWE putting them together. They had been rivals who pushed each other to their limits, but they then ended up teaming up.
They competed in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, but because they weren't able to win the tournament, they didn't end up becoming memorable when it comes to some of NXT's greatest teams.
3 Road Warrior Animal & Heidenreich
Wrestling fans certainly remember the Road Warriors as a tag team, as they were very iconic. However, the same cannot be said for when Road Warrior Animal ended up teaming with Heidenreich, who most people recall for his segment with Michael Cole.
They certainly brought a lot of power and weight to the ring, and the partnership did give Heidenreich an actual purpose. However, they're not a team that fans still remember and talk about to this day, despite the fact that a wrestling legend was part of it.
2 Public Enemy
Public Enemy made a name for themselves outside of WWE, but when it comes to their time working for Vince McMahon, they had a very forgettable run. The two men had plenty of power and that led to them having a lot of hard-hitting matches throughout their careers.

But in WWE, they didn't have a memorable career with a lot of great storylines, which is something that stopped them from being a team that fans would talk about a lot.
1 Ezekiel Jackson & Vladimir Kozlov
Ezekiel Jackson brought a lot of power and intensity to the ring with him, and for large portions of his career he certainly impressed. Much like Vladimir Kozlov, Jackson enjoyed a big push early on, but as that slowed down the two men ended up in a tag team.
They worked together for a while but they weren't able to make much of an impact overall. Despite the fact they were hard-hitting and had both been top talents on their own at one point, together they couldn't revive their careers, which is why this duo was forgotten.
