10 Surprise Debuts Or Returns We Want To See On The Raw After WrestleMania 39
There is a lot of excitement and anticipation for WrestleMania 39, with a lot of big matches and moments sure to take place. Although it has soured in recent years, the Raw after WrestleMania is a show which is often highly looked forward to as well. With the new creative ruling under Triple H, the magic of the post-WrestleMania Monday Night Raw could once again return.

Over the years, there has been an array of huge moments which have taken place on this show, such as Goldberg’s WWE debut, Brock Lesnar’s stunning 2012 return, and Dolph Ziggler’s Money in the Bank cash-in, among many more. There are several returns and debuts (both from NXT and outside the company) that fans would love to see this year.
10 Matt Cardona
Whether it be as Zack Ryder or Matt Cardona, fans have been wanting a return to WWE for this new version of Cardona, who has taken the independent scene by storm over recent years, becoming a force to be reckoned with.
As both a serious and comedic performer, Cardona would be a wonderful addition to WWE, and would fit in anywhere up and down the card. His partner, Chelsea Green, recently made her return to WWE, so there is some expectation that Ryder follows suit and comes back to WWE.
9 Bron Breakker
It feels as though Bron Breakker is now overdue a WWE main roster call up. After reigning for quite a while as NXT Champion, he does feel ready enough to try and make some progress on either Raw or SmackDown.
He has wrestled on Raw before, so perhaps this wouldn’t technically be a “debut”, but it would be an official main roster call up either way.
8 Big E
Big E broke his neck last year and it has still not been made clear if a return is even possible for him. However, he has recently been spotted looking in great shape and without a neck brace, which is a promising sign.
Even though things are uncertain, fans would still love to see him show up on the Raw after WrestleMania and come back to the ring.
7 Mandy Rose
It is hard to argue that WWE likely made a mistake when they fired Mandy Rose rather than trying to come up with a solution to whatever problems existed. Rose has spoken fairly respectfully about WWE, and it seems as though the door has been left open on a potential return down the line.

Before any other promotion snaps her up, WWE should do all they can to bring Rose back to WWE and push her on the main roster as a top star, after she proved herself worthy of carrying a whole brand in NXT.
6 Tommaso Ciampa
Tommaso Ciampa has been ruled out with an injury since last August, with there currently still no proper timeline on when he is set to make a comeback. A recent update on Instagram indicates that it is still his goal to make a return to the ring.
If he is better in time, then a return on the Raw after WrestleMania could be the perfect place to set up a strong 2023 for Ciampa, who looked to just be getting his footing under the new creative rule of Triple H last year before unfortunately being sidelined.
5 Naomi
Following a suspension alongside Sasha Banks and then a shoulder surgery as revealed by Cameron on Golden Circle Collectables, Naomi has been away from WWE television for nearly a year at this point.
With Banks leaving to become the IWGP Women’s Champion, it has left Naomi still in WWE with fans awaiting her comeback. It will be interesting to see if WWE brings her back in a major angle, or if she makes her return and settles into the same sort of spot without any sort of mention of the backstage troubles she had last year.
4 Sanity
Nikki Cross’ recent antics and certain rumors could indicate that the Sanity faction could make a return to WWE. After some success in NXT, their booking was botched on the main roster by Vince McMahon.
Now that Triple H is in charge of WWE creative, this group could get the second chance that they deserve.
3 Randy Orton
Randy Orton has been off WWE television with a long-term injury, but there has been promising rumblings in recent weeks that indicate a potential return in the near future for Orton, with GiveMeSport reporting that Orton has been in contact with a gear maker for some boots.
Rushing him back for a WrestleMania match (if he’s ready) would perhaps be unwise, but waiting to bring him back on the Raw after WrestleMania would no doubt be a huge moment. Fans are missing Orton, and he would provide a lot of star power whenever he makes a comeback.
2 Cameron Grimes
After being off NXT for a while, it looks like Cameron Grimes’ WWE main roster call-up and debut is imminent. He cooled off a little over time in NXT, so fans are hoping that there is a reset for him on Raw or SmackDown.

He could be a very strong midcard act, and he could even reignite his classic NXT feud with LA Knight if WWE wanted to explore that storyline again, as it was a great highlight towards the end of NXT Black & Gold.
1 Jay White
One of the biggest stars of NJPW over the last few years is now allegedly a free agent after losing a match where he was forced to leave the company. There have likely been several sides trying to make his acquisition, and there are many fans that would love to see him appear in WWE for the first time.
If booked correctly, WWE could have another main event level star on their hands with Jay White, or even someone who could further raise the prestige of either the United States or Intercontinental Championships too. He is someone good enough to bypass NXT and debut in a major way on the Raw after WrestleMania.
