10 Worst Moments Of Nia Jax's WWE Career
Nia Jax recently returned to WWE full-time after having previously been released back in 2021. She has already aimed right for the very top by targeting the WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, with her looking to become a two-time world champ in WWE, following on from a reign back in 2018 as the Raw Women’s Champion. When she returned, there were some groans from fans, who remember some of the weaker parts of her WWE career.

Her WWE run has been far from perfect, and there have been multiple moments to pick from to decide which of those have been her very worst.
10 Enzo Amore Love Angle
Towards the end of 2017, Nia Jax was struggling with nothing really to do. After some failed world title pursuits and losses in big feuds, WWE decided to switch things up and change her monster heel character for someone with a softer side.
She would slide into Enzo Amore’s DM’s, sparking a romance angle between the pair. Amore was released a month later so fans (thankfully) never saw what would become of this. Even the small glimpses of it were bad though. The pair had little chemistry and their backstage interactions were painfully awkward.
9 Injuring Bayley
Nia Jax has gotten into some troubles when it comes to injuring opponents, and one of the more frustrating instances came when she allegedly injured Bayley in a match.
The reason why this was such a bad moment was due to the fact that it ruled Bayley out of a PPV world title match against Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam. She suffered a separated shoulder and was then replaced by Sasha Banks. It played a part in derailing Bayley’s momentum on the main roster as a babyface for sure - which ultimately led to her eventual heel turn.
8 Bullying Storyline
Nia Jax’s best WWE moment came at WrestleMania 34 when she overcame Alexa Bliss to win the Raw Women’s Championship. Unfortunately, the storyline leading up to it felt like something straight out of the divas era, with it being a bullying angle.
Bliss played a schoolground bully along with Mickie James, and it was cringy to watch at times. Fans did get behind Jax and she played her role well, but she was making the most out of poor content which threatened to make her look bad.
7 Injuring Ember Moon
Another case of Nia Jax causing an injury to someone came with Ember Moon. She was having a tough time on the main roster anyway due to some bad booking, but things really derailed for her following this injury.

During a tag team match featuring Ronda Rousey, Nia Jax, and Tamina, Moon was injured, supposedly by Jax. This event led to Moon’s husband calling out Jax on social media.
6 Botched Royal Rumble Surprise Return
Nia Jax’s first steps towards a WWE return in 2023 was her surprise entry into the Women’s Royal Rumble match. She was the number 30 entry into the bout, but WWE ruined this big surprise with some botched production.
Jax’s music began playing before the countdown had finished, and it sucked the life out of the match a little, as fans love to see the clock counting down to zero, hearing the buzzer, and then hearing the music. It was very awkward.
5 Zelina Vega’s Concussion
At Evolution, WWE made history with the first ever all-women’s PPV in the company, and it was a great show. Nia Jax was involved in the 20-woman battle royal for a shot at either the Raw or SmackDown Women’s Title, and whilst she won the match, it hosted one of her worst moments.
Jax has a reputation for being unsafe, and this match didn’t help as she would gorilla press Zelina Vega over the top rope, but she botched the move and gave Vega a concussion. In truth, it could have been even worse.
4 Pinned By Reggie
One of the worst points of Nia Jax’s career from a booking perspective came when she and Shayna Baszler were booked unseriously as a tag team instead of a dominant monster duo, getting involved with Reginald in a terrible storyline.
At one stage during their alliance and feud with Reggie, he would pin Jax in a mixed multi-person tag team match, which was not a good look for Jax at all.
3 Injuring Kairi Sane
It has become an unhealthy occurrence of wrestlers getting hurt whilst wrestling Nia Jax, and Kairi Sane has been the victim of this on two occasions.
One she was busted open after a collision with the steel steps and then being thrown into the turnbuckle in a moment where she awkwardly landed on her neck. Both these moments were uncomfortable for sure.
2 Shoot Fight With Charlotte Flair
On an episode of Raw when Nia Jax took on Charlotte Flair, things went off the rails as their match broke down into what looked like a legit shoot fight between the pair.

No selling, stiff strikes, and words shared between the pair led to a painfully awkward moment and ultimately one of the worst matches of the year on Monday Night Raw in 2021.
1 Bloodying Up Becky Lynch
In the lead up to Survivor Series 2018, the wrestlers from Raw and SmackDown brawled in the ring. During the melee, Nia Jax struck Becky Lynch with a stiff punch that broke her face. The moment in which Lynch was bloodied was a great moment, but it led to an unfortunate sequence of events.
The highly anticipated match between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey was cancelled due to Lynch’s injury, and fans never ended up seeing a singles match between the pair as their clash at WrestleMania 35 had Charlotte Flair shoe-horned in.
