10 Wrestlers Who Kicked Out Of Undertaker’s Tombstone Piledriver Finisher
There's no other move more fitting for The Undertaker than the Tombstone Piledriver. For thirty years, Taker has delivered the devastating maneuver to anyone brave enough to step in the ring with him.

While The Dead Man has broadened his arsenal to include other destructive finishing moves like The Chokeslam, The Last Ride, and Hell's Gate, he always returns to his faithful piledriver to finish his victims. However, there have been occasions where it hasn't been enough to win the bout, or he's had to deliver it more than once to have his hand raised at the end of the match.
10 Goldberg
It's a match that many would like to forget, including The Undertaker and Goldberg. At Super ShowDown, two icons in the wrestling business collided in Saudi Arabia. Collided being the keyword.
Both men weren't in sync with the match going off the rails once Goldberg's head met the ring post. Taker landed a chokeslam and the Tombstone, but Goldberg quickly kicked out. Bill then botched a Jackhammer leaving Taker worse for wear. But The Dead Man managed to pull off a chokeslam and win the bout.
9 Roman Reigns
Another battle that The Undertaker isn't particularly proud of is his match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33. It was a hard-hitting affair with the two destroying announcer's tables and chairs during the bout. Taker would manage to gain control of the contest and get Roman in position to deliver the Tombstone.
But The Big Dog kicked out which the fans were not happy about. Reigns would spear Taker into submission and pick up the victory resulting in the iconic moment of The Dead Man, leaving his gear in the ring.
8 Kane
Kane and The Undertaker have had many battles side by side and opposite one another. In their first battle at WrestleMania XIV, the brothers would beat each other inside and outside the ring.
They used the announcer's tables and steel steps to hurt the other enough so they could land their finishing move. Kane would deliver the first Tombstone, but Taker didn't stay down. The Dead Man would fight back and execute one of his own, but The Big Red Machine kicked out. Taker would need to hit two more piledrivers to put away his brother for good.
7 Batista
The Animal and The Dead Man stepped into Hell In A Cell at Survivor Series to do battle for the World Heavyweight Championship. It didn't take long for weapons to get involved and for someone to start bleeding. Taker would deliver a nasty chair shot to the head to Batista that would leave him worse for wear.

Eventually, The Deadman would land the Tombstone on The Animal, but Batista shocked everybody by kicking out. Edge would interfere by disguising himself as a cameraman and taking out Taker, allowing Batista to steal the victory.
6 Edge
Edge would walk into WrestleMania XXIV the World Heavyweight Champion, to face The Undertaker, who was 15-0 at the showcase of the immortals. Taker dominated the match, but The Rated R Superstar was able to counter most of The Dead Man's most significant moves.
The referee would get knocked out accidentally, allowing Taker to hit the Tombstone and pin Edge. Charles Robinson would sprint down the ramp which gave Edge enough time to kick out. Taker was able to survive the spear and countered the second one with the Hell's Gate for the submission victory.
5 Bray Wyatt
Bray Wyatt did all the build-up for his match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31. The Dead Man did not appear leading up to the battle, and many wondered if he would show up. But Taker did, and he dominated The Eater Of Worlds.
There were a couple of moments when Bray would get some offense in, but for the most part, The Undertaker was in control. Taker would look to finish the match with the Tombstone, but Wyatt kicked out at two. Bray would land Sister Abigail, but The Dead Man survived it. Wyatt would attempt it again, but Taker would counter with another Tombstone to finish Bray.
4 CM Punk
At WrestleMania 29, CM Punk was determined to be the first person to defeat The Undertaker at WWE's biggest event. Punk would antagonize The Dead Man throughout the bout and taunt him about the death of his former manager, Paul Bearer.

After Taker escaped the Anaconda Vice and GTS, he would land the Tombstone. Punk would kick out at two and keep the fight going. After another GTS, Taker would fight back and land another Tombstone, which was enough for Punk to stay down for three.
3 Shawn Michaels
Michaels and Taker would put on not one, but two amazing matches at WrestleMania. Both battles were five-star classics that are considered some of the best in both HBK's and The Deadman's career. Every move and element told a story.
It would all eventually lead to The Undertaker delivering the Tombstone to Michaels. But much to the dismay of The Deadman, HBK would kick out. History would repeat itself in the following year when the two would meet again. However, on both occasions, Taker would leave the ring victorious.
2 Triple H
After retiring his best friend in the business, Triple H was on a vendetta to defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania. In their first battle in 2011, both men threw everything they had at one another, but nothing seemed to be enough to end the bout. Taker would land the Tombstone, Chokeslam, and Hell's Gate, and Hunter would deliver multiple Pedigrees. Taker had to rely on Hell's Gate to win the match due to Triple H destroying The Dead Man's back throughout the battle.
1 Brock Lesnar
Brock and The Undertaker have had multiple battles inside the squared circle. The Beast is one of the few men that The Dead Man has tangled with that has been able to throw him around with ease.
During their many matches, The Undertaker would deliver at least one Tombstone piledriver to The Beast. But each time, Lesnar would kick out. Taker has never been able to defeat Brock with the piledriver and has always had to go deeper into the well to pick up the victory.
