2023 was a pretty big year for WWE. Not only is the company doing well financially, but their on-screen product is becoming better as well. Fans are very happy with what Triple H and Co have been doing with Raw and SmackDown, and Shawn Michaels with NXT. There were many surprising moments this year, and perhaps the biggest surprise was CM Punk’s WWE return.

He was sent back to the mid-card where he stayed until his departure. After leaving WWE, he worked on his character and rebuilt himself. His stocks are at an all-time high today. Cardona has talked about wanting to return to WWE and his answer was basically “cash and creative.” WWE always had the cash, and now under Triple H, they can use him more efficiently as well.
