10 WWE Wrestlers Who Need A Push In 2024
WWE had a stellar creative year in 2023 which helped to elevate the profile of many of its superstars. For the first time in forever, the company feels loaded with top talent across the whole roster, with Raw, SmackDown and NXT being unmissable at their respective bests.
8 WWE Wrestlers Who Shouldn't Even Think About Joining AEW
These WWE wrestlers are in a good position within the company and don't need to consider AEW.Going into 2024, WWE should aim to continue its momentum by granting certain wrestlers pushes that match their ability and/or popularity with the fans. There are a number of performers that are just waiting to break out and deserve a push that matches their potential as a top talent in the industry.
10 Cameron Grimes Has Been Underutilized
It's Time To Push Grimes 'To The Moon'
- Grimes Debuted On SmackDown Following The 2023 WWE Draft
- He Has Feuded With The Likes Of Baron Corbin, Austin Theory And Grayson Waller
The former North American Champion has had a slow start to life on the WWE main roster as he only seems to appear on SmackDown as a bit-part player. Grimes has proven during his time in NXT that he can be more than just a goofy mid-card performer, as he is also an elite in-ring talent.
WWE just have to give Grimes an actual feud to kickstart his main roster run, as he will then be able to demonstrate his value as a performer outside the ring too. There are plenty of talented heels on SmackDown that could bounce off Grimes' exuberant personality, creating an entertaining dynamic.
9 The Creed Brothers Have Been Sensational
The Young Team Deserve A Tag Title Reign This Year
- The Creeds Signed For The Raw Brand In November 2023
- This Was Following A Kayfabe Bidding War Between SmackDown And Raw GM's, Nick Aldis And Adam Pearce
The Creeds have already made a huge splash in the tag team division on Raw, narrowly missing out on defeating Judgment Day for the Tag Team Championships. It has been a great start to life on the main roster for the brothers after a great couple of years honing their craft in NXT.
The next time Brutus and Julius go for the belts, they should win them, as the Creeds have the potential to be the top tandem in WWE for years to come.
Ivy Nile is also worth mentioning as a potential breakout star in 2024 as her recent performances against Rhea Ripley have shown.
8 Shotzi Can Be A Huge Babyface
Shotzi Already Has A Great Connection With The Crowd
- Shotzi Has Never Won A Title On The WWE Main Roster
- She Is A Former NXT Tag Team Champion Alongside Ember Moon
Whilst never being the most consistent in-ring performer, Shotzi has the qualities to be a top babyface in WWE, as fans already route for her in any match she is in. Her willingness to put her body on the line is risky, but also very endearing, which is akin to top stars of the past like Mick Foley and Jeff Hardy.

If Shotzi can find another level to her in-ring game, then there is really no reason not to push her as one of the most promising performers in the company.
7 Grayson Waller Has Top Heel Potential
The Aussie Superstar Is Only Getting Better
- Waller Was Drafted To SmackDown In 2023
- He Has Since Formed One Half Of A-Town Down Under Alongside Austin Theory
The tag team of Grayson Waller and Austin Theory works well for both men as they begin their WWE careers as heels with a lot of upside. Theory has already been given te chance to be a mid-card heel champion, which did not go particularly well for hm in truth.
Waller has not been given the same chance though, despite being a far better character than Theory has even been on the main roster. 2024 should be the year that Grayson establishes himself as a solo star, even if it is at the expense of his less talented partner.
6 Chad Gable Could Be A Main Event Performer
The Former Olympian Is One Of The Best Pure Wrestlers In The Company
- Gable Reminded Fans Of His In-Ring Talent In His Series Against Gunther Last Year
- He Has Never Won A Singles Championship In WWE
Every WWE fan knows how talented Chad Gable is, with comparisons to wrestling legend Kurt Angle being completely justified. Unlike the 'Wrestling Machine,' Gable has not been entrusted as a main event competitor, which he is definitely capable of.
Alpha Academy has been an entertaining faction, but the best part about it has always been when Gable has been unleashed as a singles wrestler, particularly in his short feud against Gunther. He could even be a good option to dethrone 'Der Ring General' as Intercontinental Champion, as fans would definitely back him.
5 The Street Profits Need To Split Up
Ford And Dawkins Are More Than Ready To Be Singles Stars
- The Street Profits Have Been Together Since 2016
- They Have Won The Raw, SmackDown, And NXT Tag Team Championships
It would not be unfair to say that Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford have flown under the radar amid all of WWE's success in 2023. The Street Profits have been one of the best tag teams of the past few years, but they have not really progressed when they could have.
RELATED: Will Bobby Lashley Be The Catalyst For The Street Profits' Inevitable Breakup?Ford is often touted as a potential breakout singles star, whilst Dawkins has proven to be more than capable of going it alone as a great all-rounder. Splitting the team up may seem like a risky prospect, but it's time both men were given the chance to try and create their own legacy.
4 Karrion Kross Has Had A Terrible Time On The Main Roser
The Former NXT Champion Has Never Had A Solid Push On Raw Or SmackDown
- Kross First Moved To The Main Roster In 2021 But Was Released The Same Year
- He Was Rehired And Appeared On SmackDown In Late 2022
Kross' whole WWE career has been a complete train wreck thus far, as he has clearly not lived up to the early expectations set upon him during his time in NXT. His in-ring work has never been the best, whilst his character can simply not be taken seriously as he loses most of his matches.
His new association with the returning Authors of Pain may give Kross one final chance to impress, but his push has to be comitted if it is ever going to work. The menacing demeanor can quickly be undermined if he is made to be a perennial loser once again.
3 Bayley Can Be One Of The Company's Main Attractions
A Babyface Bayley Is Best For Business
- Bayley Has Been Performing As A Heel Since Turning On Becky Lynch In 2019
- She Is A Four-Time World Champion Within WWE
It certainly appears as though Bayley's time as part of Damage CTRL is coming to an end, as Iyo Sky continues to cement her power as the group's de facto leader. This will mean that, for the first time in years, Bayley can be a face which has always been the role she is better at playing.
'The Hugger' character does not have to return in full, but a much more spirited and good-natured version of Bayley is necessary at this point. She could easily be one of the top stars in the company if WWE is able to replicate even half of the popularity she had during her time in NXT.
2 Sami Zayn Should Be A World Champion In 2024
The Ultimate Underdog Has Already Waited So Long For His Main Event Moment
Sami Zayn had an incredible 2023, taking the 'Tribal Chief' to the limit at Elimination Chamber in Montreal before defeating The Usos for the Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 39. Zayn has since re-entered the singles ranks after he and Kevin Owens were split up, but he has not quite been able to win the big one just yet.
Zayn has to be considered as one of the stronger outside bets for the Royal Rumble as he has been circulating the World Heavyweight Championship for some time. If Zayn could finally become world champion, it would undoubtedly be one of the best moments of 2024.
1 Damian Priest Is A Worthy World Champion
Judgment Day Has Elevated Everyone In the Group
- Priest Still Holds The Money In The Bank Briefcase He Won In July 2023
- He Is One Half Of The WWE Tag Team Champions Alongside Finn Balor
Priest may be one of the more obvious picks for a big push in 2024 as he awaits his opportunity to cash-in the Money in the Bank. The Tag Team Champion needs to not only win a world title but also have a good reign which also pays off all the great work that Judgment Day has done.
Alongside Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio, Priest has elevated his star to the point where anything less than a strong main event run will be disappointing. The Judgment Day deserves a good send off should 2024 be its final year, with all of the members exiting the group in a strong position.
