5 Best Tag Team Partners Of John Morrison's Career (& 5 Worst)
John Morrison has competed under a variety of names for a large number of promotions over his career, and while he has been a great singles star over the years, he has also been a big part of the tag team division wherever he has gone.

Morrison's style inside the ring often compliments people perfectly, while his natural charisma is something that connects perfectly when he has the right person by his side. Considering he has worked in so many different places, it is understandable that not all of his tag team partnerships have connected, but on the flip side, plenty have been memorable to watch.
10 Best: Trish Stratus
One of John Morrison's biggest opportunities in wrestling came at WrestleMania 27 where he teamed up with Trish Stratus and Snooki, with the three of them getting the victory in that match. But Morrison also got the chance to work with Stratus again on the following episode of Raw.
Of course, they scored another victory, with the partnership that they had proving to be very successful. Stratus was a legend at that point, therefore seeing them dominate their matches wasn't a big surprise, but it proved to be a great team.
9 Worst: Matt Hardy
John Morrison and Matt Hardy spent a long time feuding against each other at points in their careers, but they have also been able to work together a lot as well. This was the case in WWE, but the matches were always random and led to a real mixture of results.

However, they also got to be part of the same team in the AAA Victoria Lucha Libre World Cup tournament, but they ultimately fell short of the mark. Plus, they lost their biggest match together at AAA TripleMania XXX: Tijuana after Morrison was brought in to replace Jeff Hardy at the last minute.
8 Best: PJ Black/Jack Evans
PJ Black and Jack Evans were perfect tag team partners to work alongside John Morrison during his time in Lucha Underground as the styles of all three men complimented each other perfectly. They're all high-flying stars who are capable of pulling off unbelievable moves, and that is why they were so fun to watch.
But they weren't just great to watch when it came to their matches, they were also successful with their performances. Working as The Worldwide Underground they proved to be a dominant faction, enjoying a run as Lucha Underground Trios Champions.
7 Worst: R-Truth
John Morrison and R-Truth enjoyed a period working together as a tag team in 2010/2011, and their partnership was a rather random one. However, they committed completely to their run as a team, and it did lead to them getting a Tag Team Championship shot at WrestleMania against Big Show and The Miz.
However, they ultimately fell short during that time, and that was the case every time they had a big opportunity as a team. They did pick up some wins, but when it came to their big matches things didn't quite work out for them.
6 Best: Taya Valkyrie
Taya Valkyrie is a talented worker who has developed a great career in her own right, but she has also had plenty of opportunities working alongside her husband, John Morrison. The two of them haven't won every single mixed-gender tag team match that they have competed in, but they do have a good record.
They obviously have great chemistry because of the fact they are in a relationship together, and that is something that has led to them being a joy to watch no matter what promotion they have been working in.
5 Worst: Sheamus
John Morrison and Sheamus have never been full-time tag team partners, but they have been put together plenty of times throughout their careers. Because they have both often been heels, WWE has thrown them together as a team or a six-man group on several occasions.

However, when it comes to their matches they were often booked to lose, which is not a surprise considering the fact that they were never a full-time team, which is why they often ended up failing to win.
4 Best: Joey Mercury
While the partnership between John Morrison and Joey Mercury was a long time ago, the two men had fantastic chemistry inside the ring. Their time competing as MNM with Melina by their side was a crucial one in the early moments of his career, with Morrison being able to prove himself with his in-ring work.
Their styles matched up perfectly inside the ring, and they put together some amazing matches throughout their spell as partners. Adding in the over-the-top gimmick that was all based on looks was something that allowed them to add some personality as well, helping to make them even more memorable.
3 Worst: Brian Cage
On paper, a tag team between Brian Cage and John Morrison should have been great to watch considering the in-ring styles that they both have. Cage brings pure power and strength to the ring when he performs, while Morrison is able to work a more aerial style.
They're two top names who have always been pushed no matter where they have worked, which also should have helped them as a tag team, but the majority of the time they've been together, the result has been them losing, proving that they haven't always connected well.
2 Best: The Miz
When it comes to John Morrison's greatest tag team partner in wrestling, it is The Miz who takes that honor as the two of them were perfect partners. Inside the ring, Morrison's aerial abilities worked well alongside Miz's work, and their matches were always enjoyable to watch.

However, it was through their promos that they truly came alive as partners. They were both able to push their arrogance to the top, and every segment they had would end up being entertaining because of the chemistry they had as friends behind the scenes as well.
1 Worst: Melina
Considering the fact that MNM were a dominant faction that brought a lot of success, most people would presume that Melina and John Morrison were successful together whenever they teamed up. However, that isn't the case, and while Morrison and Joey Mercury were good together, that wasn't the case with Melina.
They worked some mixed tag team matches and six-person bouts, but more often than not when Melina was involved with Morrison they ended up being beaten, even though she was a crucial part of their faction.
