Alexa Bliss has recently been heavily involved in the storyline between Braun Strowman and The Fiend, with WWE heavily teasing that she could be Sister Abigail. It's a character fans have long wanted to see be created on television, not just talked about by Bray Wyatt, and it seems that might be about to happen.

However, while there are many that hope she will become Sister Abigail, there are equally just as many people who don't. Her current tag team run with Nikki Cross has been really enjoyable, and some people would just rather see that continue on for longer.

While Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss have been together far longer than most ever expected, it does feel like there is more storyline left for them to tap into. With how they left things leading to The Fiend attacking Alexa, it feels like there is too much story for WWE to just leave it.

Even if this does lead to them splitting up, with Alexa potentially doing the damage, both women will likely be left in stronger positions by telling that story as it will develop each of them even further.

Sister Abigail isn't a new concept to WWE fans, it is something Bray Wyatt has been talking about ever since he debuted on the main roster. Fans have waited patiently and now is the right time to finally deliver something physical.

While it hasn't been made official that Alexa Bliss is Sister Abigail, it has been getting a very good response on social media. Her appearance in the Swamp Fight was arguably the only good thing about the match.

When Alexa and Nikki had the falling out which led to The Fiend attacking Alexa, it was all fans could talk about and there certainly feels like some momentum building for it to happen.

A big reason why Alexa Bliss should just stay teaming with Nikki Cross is that they are simply a great team. At this point in time, nobody is fed up with them and therefore it seems like a waste to just split them.

They have great chemistry through promos and in the ring and scrapping that for what would be a major gamble seems like a recipe for disaster.

One of the big problems that WWE has got with The Fiend is that they've booked him to be so strong it almost feels like he's invincible. However, adding Sister Abigail to his character could change that, as it gives him a clear weakness.

The monster who loves Abigail is similar to how King Kong works, in that it becomes a huge source of vulnerability for him. This would then give WWE more of a chance to book him in defeats, which would make his matches less predictable.

A big reason that fans would like to see Alexa Bliss continue teaming with Nikki Cross actually has nothing to do with them as a tag team. Instead, it is because people believe the Sister Abigail character should be a totally fresh talent on the roster.

If WWE makes Alexa Bliss play this role, many fans won't buy into it, simply because they know her as Alexa Bliss. It could be easier for audiences to accept someone else as it would also add to the roster.

The Fiend is still one of the hottest things about WWE right now, with fans absolutely loving the gimmick and how it is presented. Therefore, adding to that character and giving him something totally different to play off of would be a huge plus.

WWE should bring Sister Abigail out as it would freshen up the gimmick and give The Fiend new storylines to work on down the line with other wrestlers.

2 Stay With Nikki: Nikki Should Become Sister Abigail

The biggest reason that Alexa Bliss should remain in a tag team with Nikki Cross is so that WWE could pull a major swerve, making Nikki into Sister Abigail instead. She has played the maniacal, crazed character before and it's something she does very well.

Because of that, it would be a fun double-cross to shock the fans by having Nikki turn on Alexa and side with Bray Wyatt. It's something that would be less predictable and arguably suits their talents more.

1 Sister Abigail: Freshen Her Character

Alexa Bliss has altered her character a couple of times throughout her career, but it has never been anything too drastic. Instead, it has simply been heel and babyface changes and while they've worked, becoming Sister Abigail would be a huge switch for her.

This is something that could be brilliant for Alexa as it would give her something new to get into, and it would provide a totally different challenge to what she has done before.
