AEW's Max Caster References WWE Releases In Rampage Rap
Max Caser's latest rap did not disappoint! The AEW star referenced the recent wave of WWE layoffs and took a shot at WWE's head of talent relations, John Laurinaitis, during a 'freestyle' rap on the most recent edition of Rampage.
Caster accompanied his Acclaimed tag team partner Anthony Bowens to the ring for the latter's match against "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson at the top of the show. While Danielson waited in the ring for Bowens to arrive, Caster roasted Danielson in a rap.
"The Acclaimed, we only do numbers,
but this guy’s too busy growing cucumbers,
Don’t be mad at me bro,
’cause you’re only known for your wife’s reality show,
And you should eat some eggs,
look at Bowens’ arms, they’re bigger than your legs,
Imma put you into poverty dawg, ’
cause I end careers quicker than your father-in-law"
The father-in-law Caster referenced is, of course, John Laurinaitis, who is married to Kathy Colace, the mother of Danielson's wife Brie Bella. As we reported, WWE recently released several members of its roster in another wave of layoffs. As WWE's head of talent relations, Laurinaitis would have been heavily involved in those layoffs and more than likely delivered the news to those who were released.

Caster's rap will definitely ruffle a few feathers, but it was actually pretty tame to the one that landed him in hot water back in August. In case you missed it, Caster delivered a rap during his entrance on the August 3 episode of Dark that got everyone talking for all the wrong reasons. Caster referenced the recent mental health struggles of Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, as well as the Duke lacrosse scandal. Caster's tasteless rap ended with a crass joke about his AEW colleague Julia Hart.
Danielson went on to defeat Bowens on Rampage, which was little more than a warm-up for his match with Miro in the final of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament at Full Gear.
