12 Canceled WWE SmackDown Appearance

Although Nikkita Lyons hasn’t been in WWE developmental for too long, WWE announced her main roster debut last year. The Women’s Tag Team Championships had been vacant ever since Naomi and Sasha Banks walked out of WWE a few months prior, and a tournament was announced to crown new champions. Lyons was set to team with Zoey Stark and represent NXT in the tournament.

However, due to a supposed concussion and travel restrictions, Lyons was unable to compete on the advertised date and the pair were pulled from competing. Lyons has yet to make an appearance on Raw or SmackDown since.

11 Long-Term Injury

Nikkita Lyons proved herself to be one of the hottest prospects in NXT, however her rise up the card was put to a harsh and sudden halt. At the start of 2023, Lyons picked up a long-term injury, suffering a torn ACL.

This has kept her out of action for nearly five months as of this writing, with a return date still not announced or revealed for the promising individual.
