Alexa Bliss Undergoes Skin Cancer Procedure, Now "All Clear"

The past year has been fairly tumultuous for WWE superstar Alexa Bliss. Her gimmick has undergone a lot of changes, as have her friendships on the roster. She used to be a close ally of Bianca Belair and Asuka; Bliss and Asuka even became WWE Women's Tag Team Champions together, though they lost the belts soon after winning them.

However, the former champion came up short and was unable to defeat her former friend. Now, it's unclear what exactly the future holds for Alexa Bliss.

Alexa Bliss Updates Fans On "Quick And Easy" Skin Procedure

Yesterday, Alexa Bliss posted a picture of herself on her Instagram story. In the image, Alexa had bandages covering the side of her face. She captioned it "Dear younger me, you should have stayed out of tanning beds. All clear now though!" (Instagram stories expire after a few hours, so it cannot be linked to).

She then took to Twitter to further explain the situation to fans. One fan, in particular, sent their well-wishes to the WWE superstar and Bliss responded:

Thank you! Don’t worry, short healing time. Always get your skin checked! Esp if you are in the sun or use tanning beds! Lol

Another fan asked if there was something that prompted Alexa to go get her skin checked out. She explained to them:

There was a spot on my face yes- that had gotten worse. So went to get a biopsy. Was basal cell carcinoma. During my procedure doc also found other squamous cells. Was a quick and easy procedure. Glad I always get my skin checked

Alexa Bliss recently denied reports that she was on another hiatus from WWE. However, with her not on the card for Wrestlemania (at least not at the time of writing), it is unclear when fans will see her on WWE television again.
