Ayusa was established in San Francisco in 1980 and in Tokyo 1985, and we have offices all over the world. We have been organizing study abroad opportunities for young language and culture learners for nearly 40 years. We offer high school exchange programs, both for Japanese students wanting to go to high school abroad, as well as students from outside Japan who want to experience life in a Japanese high school. We also offer a yearly Summer Camp in Japan where we host students age 15-19 from all over the world for Japanese lessons, volunteer activities, homestays with local Japanese families, and numerous sightseeing outings. Ayusa International Japan is part of Intrax, an international exchange organization headquartered in San Francisco. Founded in 1980, Intrax today has over 1,300 Student Support staff, 100 dedicated Partner Services staff, regional offices on four continents, and a presence in more than 80 countries. Intrax is proud to welcome more than 20,000 participants into its programs each year.
