Bayley And Longtime Boyfriend Aaron Solow Call Off Engagement

Bayley and longtime boyfriend Aaron Solow have called off their engagement on the back of what's been a pretty rough start to 2021 for the former WWE Women's Champion.

The SmackDown superstar has taken back-to-back losses to Bianca Belair and things are hardly better on a personal front, with Solow having announced the two are going their separate ways.

Solow, a wrestler at AEW, got engaged to Bayley last year, having met her in 2010. The AEW performer took to Twitter on Saturday evening to disclose the breakup, citing differences in what should obtain for the future.

“This has been an extremely difficult decision to make,” he wrote. “Pam and I have come to the realization that we have a completely different idea of what we want our future to look like, because of this we feel that it would be in our best interests to call off our engagement and end our relationship.

“We have a lot of great memories together that we’ll forever cherish. We’ve agreed to remain friends and will continue to support each other in our careers and lives.

“We ask that you please respect our privacy on this matter.”

An Unfortunate Development

The wrestlers met when they were both trying to make it in the business. Solow, a former indie wrestler, joined Cody Rhodes' Nightmare Family recently and is soon to square off with Dolph Ziggler's brother Ryan Nemeth on AEW Dark.

As mentioned above, Bayley's not having that great of a time on television, having come up short in the Women's Royal Rumble earlier this month and losing to Bianca in her own obstacle course.

The most recent development is pretty unfortunate for both Aaron and Bayley but they should be able to get past it eventually.
