Bianca Carelli's WWE Signing Confirmed By Her Father, Santino Marella
Last May, WWE legend Santino Marella took to Twitter to encourage his former workplace to hire his daughter, rising indie star Bianca Carelli -- and it (eventually) worked!
“My daughter is starting at the PC in two weeks. She got hired,” Marella revealed during a recent chat with WWE Hall of Famers JBL and Gerald Brisco on their podcast. “She’s a beast, man. She’s going to be an absolute top-tier player. She was identified from a young child. You know, she won her school speeches and she was Ms. Teen Ontario, she’s a television personality and she’s tall and she’s strong."
26-year-old Bianca Carelli has been wrestling professionally since 2020. According to Cagematch.com, Carelli has only worked eight matches in her career to date, but that likely made her signature even more appealing to WWE higher-ups, who don't have to worry about wasting too much effort training her to unlearn habits she picked up on the indies.

“In a couple of years, I can’t wait to go to WrestleMania just as a parent going to watch their kid," Santino said during the aforementioned podcast appearance. "I don’t want to do anything, I don’t want to sign, I don’t want to talk to anybody. I’m just here to watch my kid and I just cannot wait for that."
As we reported, WWE sized up potential new recruits at a tryout session last December. In a series of photographs uploaded to WWE's website, Carelli can be seen training alongside indie performers such as Nikita Knight, Notorious Mimi, The Renegade Twins, and former Ring of Honor Women's Champion Rok-C. The hopefuls were being coached by WWE veteran Matt Bloom, William Regal (who has since been released), and Robbie Brookside, a legend of the European independent scene.
Carelli also attended a WWE tryout in August 2019.
