Big E Says His Mind Was Blown By Bron Breakker's Speedy Development

Bron Breakker -- the fastest rising star in all of WWE -- just received some very high praise from the promotion's champion, Big E.

Big E spoke about how impressed he's been with Breakker's speedy development during a recent appearance on The Illuminerdi YouTube Channel.

"When he said he’s only been training for seven months, it kinda blew my mind," Big E said of the former NFL player who was waived by the Baltimore Ravens last year. Brekker is now looking to make a name for himself in sports entertainment. The 24-year-old comes from wrestling royalty, so his arrival in WWE was an inevitability. His father and uncle (Scott Steiner) were one of the most formidable tag teams of the 80s and 90s. The Steiner Brothers won titles with NWA, IWGP, WCW, and WWE.

"He’s been playing football. I think he dabbled in the NFL for a little bit," Big E said of Breakker. "I love that he feels like a part of this modern era but he reminds everyone so much of his dad and uncle," he added.. "And the singlet? Man! You get that Steiner Brother nostalgia! One of the greatest tag teams of all time."

Since debuting as Bron Breakker on the very first episode of NXT 2.0, Breakker has been chasing after the NXT Championship -- a title that Big E himself once held during his days in WWE's developmental system.

Breakker (real name Bronson Rechsteiner) signed with WWE in February of this year. At WrestleMania Backlash on May 16, Breakker portrayed one of the "zombies" in the lumberjack match between Damian Priest and The Miz. In August, he portrayed a security guard during an NXT segment featuring Samoa Joe and Karrion Kross. The segment concluded with Breakker being choked out by Joe.
