My first marriage to [jazz musician] Jean Hart was full of love and adventure. We married in 1967 and had two daughters, Kate, an actor, and Bonnie, a choreographer and dance teacher. We also have three grandchildren; Ella Lyle and Gracie, and our lives are still very much connected. Jean also gets on brilliantly with Laura, my second wife, with whom I have a daughter, Rosie, a musician. She was wise and sharp witted- always has been.
