Blackpink’s Jennie to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Here’s what we know

BLACKPINK's Jennie has had a thrilling year; after her debut at the Met Gala, she made an impressive premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. The artist just made her Hollywood debut in the worldwide series The Idol starring Lily-Rose Depp and The Weekend. Now, the most recent rumour about her joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe has gained a ton of social media attention. Yet, it appears that the continued rumours are unfounded.


The How You Like That singer allegedly grabbed the attention of MCU executives with a proposal called Team Agents Of Atlas, which centers on an Asian superhero squad. According to rumours, Jennie had been chosen to portray Luna Snow, also known as Seol Hee, a bilingual supergirl and K-pop performer who possesses the extraordinary ability to manipulate ice. The BLACKPINK member's management company, YG Entertainment, has, however, refuted the persistent rumours.

According to a company spokesman for the singer, Jennie's association with the MCU is a made-up rumour spread by foreign media. “Jennie has never received an offer to appear in the Marvel series ‘Team Agent of Atlas’,” confirmed the spokesperson. More on: Jennie Jennie Jennie
