Brock Lesnar's Suspension No Longer Indefinite

Brock Lesnar returned to WWE at SummerSlam this year, confronting Roman Reigns to close the show. The Beast's latest visit to his place of work was predictably short, though. One match with The Tribal Chief later and he was gone again. Well, one loss and then a temper tantrum the night after which got the veteran indefinitely suspended, not to mention a $1 million fine, all in storyline, of course.

Brock Lesnar's Suspension Is No Longer Indefinite

The suspension was obviously just a way to get Lesnar off TV. The mutliple time World Champion likely has a finite number of matches on his contract and WWE will want to space them out. It appears the next one, whatever it may be, is on the horizon. At Survivor Series, Kayla Braxton informed Paul Heyman that Lesnar's suspension is no longer indefinite.

Well, Braxton actually said that there are rumors Lesnar's suspension is no longer indefinite. While the interviewer loves nothing more than messing with Heyman, it seems unlikely that she would tease Lesnar's return unless The Beast incarnate really will be back sometime soon. What his first order of business will be and where his next match will take place is up for debate, though.

What's Next For The Beast?

While a rematch with Reigns seems to be the most obvious avenue, that booking poses a problem for WWE. Since The Head of the Table has already beaten Lesnar following his return, it seems unlikely Lesnar is the one who will eventually beat Reigns. Right now it's unclear who that lucky Superstar is going to be. However, Lesnar did reveal before his suspension that he is a free agent and can appear on both shows.

That free agency means he can show up on Raw and potentially challenge Big E for the WWE Title. It also gives Heyman and Reigns something else to gloat about on Friday nights, claiming Lesnar was too scared to come back to the blue brand and stoke the fire for whenever their paths do cross again. If that is the plan, it spells bad news for Big E, and right now the most likely backdrop for that match would be next year's Royal Rumble.
