Bryan Danielson Reenacts Infamous WWE Moment In AEW
Bryan Danielson called Justin Roberts in the ring so he could reenact something he did that got him fired from WWE all the way back in 2010.
Bryan Danielson is having a lot of fun in AEW, wrestling terrific matches against opponents he previously thought he would never meet in the ring. Turns out he has also been having fun once AEW's shows go off the air too. The former WWE Champion called Justin Roberts in the ring after Dynamite this week so he could relive an 11-year-old moment between the two of them.
Danielson Choked Justin Roberts With A Tie
Roberts also worked for WWE and he and Danielson actually shared the screen together during an infamous moment on Raw all the way back in 2010. Danielson was part of the NXT class that invaded the show and attacked various people. One of those people was Roberts who Danielson choked with his own tie live on air.

Danielson probably didn't think he had done anything wrong in the moment. However, it quickly led to him being released by WWE. Apparently a sponsor complained to WWE and the company reacted and showed the sponsor it had taken the situation seriously by releasing Danielson. It didn't last long and he was hired back later that year, beginning a run that would include him winning multiple World Titles.
Look Away, TK
After Dynamite went off the air this week, Danielson called Roberts into the ring. As the ring announcer made his way up the steps and between the ropes, Danielson told Tony Khan to look away, joking that he didn't want to get fired again. Danielson then proceeded to look like he was choking Roberts with his tie before leaning down and saying what a great announcer he is.
This was all meant to be a light-hearted joke, of course. Danielson has had nothing but glowing things to say about WWE and Vince McMahon since he let his contract run out and decided to sign with AEW. Danielson departed WWE so amicably that it's believed the door is open for him to return to the company whenever he likes should he choose to do so in the future.
