Buddy Matthews Shares Clip Of His Shoulder Being Popped Back In Place Mid-Match

No, wrestling might not be "real", but wrestlers put their bodies on the line every time they step between the ropes. The growing laundry list of injuries WWE is currently dealing with proves that. Buddy Matthews might have thought he was headed for the AEW version of that list over the weekend. Matthews suffered an injury midway through his match with Andrade, but a clip that has gone viral since shows the Aussie getting the problem fixed at ringside so he could carry on with the match.

Shoulder Popped Back In

The clip, which was shared by WrestlingCovers, shows Matthews heading over to an AEW employee, presumably someone who is part of the promotion's medical team, and getting that employee to pull on his arm. The employee seemingly checks with Matthews and tells him to brace himself before starting to pull on his arm. After a short, sharp jerk, it's pretty clear Matthews' shoulder was out of place, and the aim was to pop it back in.

It looks like it hurt (a lot), but it allowed Matthews to return to the fray. Matthews has confirmed the clip is exactly what everyone assumed it to be, sharing the clip and tweeting, "Never question if I give you my all." Even without a very quick break to get his shoulder popped back into place, no one watching Matthews' match with Andrade should be questioning whether he gives his all or not.

Andrade And Matthews On Collision

Collision is still a young show having only been on the air for six weeks, but Matthews and Andrade have already cemented themselves as important parts of it. The two put on a terrific match during Collision's opening episode, but their ladder match this past weekend blew that prior clash out of the water. The unbelievable highlight of the match was Andrade performing a sunset flip powerbomb from one ladder into another on Matthews.

The two were competing for Andrade's mask hanging above the ring. Julia Hart stole the mask when Andrade battled Brody King but won it back by beating Matthews in their brutal ladder match. Fingers crossed the rivalry continues, and also that Matthews didn't do any damage that will keep him sidelined when dislocating his shoulder.
