Carmella Telling Stepkids She's Pregnant Goes Viral For All The Right Reasons

Carmella hasn't competed on WWE TV for almost two months and was inexplicably left out of the WWE Draft pool. The reason for that was revealed over the weekend as Carmella and Corey Graves broke the news that they're expecting their first child together. An especially special announcement after the wrestling couple told fans about the emotional period in their lives they went through after Carmella had a miscarriage last year.

Telling The Stepkids

As if the news that the two are once again expecting wasn't enough to touch your heart, then a video of Carmella breaking the news to her stepkids almost definitely will be. Graves has three children from a previous marriage who Carmella bought new shoes for recently, sharing a video of the three of them receiving their gifts. However, the clip has since been shared far and wide, including on WWE's Twitter account, for its wholesome ending.

After thanking Carmella and their dad for the shoes, the former SmackDown Women's Champion urges them to check in the bag as there should be something else in there. That's when the kids find a fourth, much smaller box containing a pair of shoes for a baby. After a couple of seconds, the penny drops and they all rush over to Carmella to give her a hug.

Heartwarming And Heartbreaking

A pretty special way to reveal to your kids and your stepkids that they're getting a new brother or sister, and as mentioned above, a moment made even more emotional due to what Carmella and Graves went through last year. Carmella shared that she had a miscarriage last year, admitting she was unsure whether to share that information with fans or not, but decided to do so on the final day of Infant Loss Awareness month in 2022.

Carmella will naturally be gone from the ring for some time while she's pregnant and then for a while after having the baby. The length of time wrestlers remain at home after giving birth differs quite a bit. Ronda Rousey returned to WWE to win the 2022 Royal Rumble just four months after having her baby. A feat I still can't believe she pulled off. Congratulations to Carmella and Graves, and I look forward to seeing the former wrestle again whenever she's ready to return.
