DDP Starting New Podcast With Jake the Snake Roberts

Nearly everyone in the industry has a wrestling podcast. That said, few may have one as interesting as the one Diamon Dallas Page and Jake 'The Snake' Roberts will have. They're bringing their own show to the masses starting in late December, according to DDP who dropped that nugget during his interview with Stone Cold Steve Austin the Broken Skull Sessions interview that aired this past Sunday.

While talking about how much it means that he was able to resurrect the career of Roberts and said it his WWE Hall of Fame induction and first world title reign were second to how he helped his friend through a trying time in his life, a podcast seemed like a no-brainer according to Jake and Roberts talked DDP into it. Saying you don't really say no when Jake the Snake wants to do something DDP says the two will share their feelings on the business and DDP hinted that you never know what Jake will say.

The two styles are vastly different. DDP is about the most positive person in the world, rarely saying anything bad about anyone. Jake has a ton of stories about the wrestling industry and more often than not, he doesn't speak kindly of others. Listening to these two go back and forth should be quite entertaining.

The podcast will be part of the Conrad Thompson group of shows, which also includes Kurt Angle, Jeff Jarrett, Eric Bischoff, Arn Anderson and the very popular Something to Wrestle. It will be called the DDP Snake Pit and is supposed to begin in late December or early January.

DDP And Roberts Are Great Buddies

For fans who don't know, DDP and Roberts are extremely close. Robert went through drug and alcohol addiction issues and DDP was the only person who could and would stick with him during years of hard times. Jake is doing much better these days, while DDP is rocking it with his DDP Yoga line and landed a few new roles outside of the wrestling industry.

During the Austin interview, DDP got emotional a few times, but no more than when he talked about how proud he was to be able to save his friend.
