Bachelor in Paradise season 9 couple Sam Jeffries and Aaron Schwartzman were just starting to build a strong connection when she had to leave the beach early because of a serious health emergency, but did they reunite after the show? Sam, a 28-year-old occupational therapist from Dayton, Ohio, and Aaron, a 34-year-old firefighter from San Diego, California, were just getting to know each other when Sam revealed that she hadn't had a bowel movement in nine days. After speaking to the medic, she was told that, if she hadn't gone to the bathroom by the morning, then more serious actions would have to be taken.

On Bachelor in Paradise season 9, Sam received her first-ever Bachelor Nation rose from Aaron at the first rose ceremony. She'd left Clayton Echard's Bachelor season after her limousine entrance, and never even entered the mansion on premiere night. Aaron had gotten his start on Charity Lawson's Bachelorette season. Although he didn't form a connection with Charity, he was known for his hilarious commentary. Sam and Aaron were just getting started when she had to leave Paradise, but did they continue their relationship outside of the show?

Aaron Tried To Help Sam Through Her Health Problems

When Sam was told that she'd have to leave Paradise if she didn't go to the bathroom, Aaron stepped up and tried to help her. He brought her foods that might help start the process, and shared the meal with her. He also did some exercises and walked the beach with her.

However, the most important thing that Aaron did for Sam was make her feel comfortable in her very difficult situation. The medic had told her that they'll have to deliver "almost like a poo baby." Aaron told her, "Just remember one thing, it's not your poop baby. It's gonna be our poop baby." Despite their best efforts, Sam couldn't go to the bathroom, and so she had to leave Paradise.

Aaron Was Eliminated At The Next Bachelor In Paradise Season 9 Rose Ceremony

Although Aaron didn't leave Bachelor in Paradise season 9 when Sam did, he didn't make any connections with any of the other women. After Sam left, Aaron's heart just wasn't in it anymore, and he was eliminated at the next rose ceremony. It was intriguing to think about whether Sam and Aaron reunited after they both left the beach.

Sam & Aaron Aren’t Together After Bachelor In Paradise Season 9

In an Instagram reel, Sam revealed that she and Aaron aren't a couple after Bachelor in Paradise season 9. She shared a series of photographs and videos of them together both on and after the show. Sam shared that a difference in religion was the reason that they weren't together. She wrote, "Different views on faith took Aaron and I on separate paths, but the twist? We’re still the best of friends. We may not be soulmates, but we’re ‘bowl-mates’ for life." She added smiley face and poop emojis to the post. Sam concluded by saying, "My relationship with Jesus will always be my #1 priority – and I’m so beyond grateful for our friendship!"

Although Bachelor in Paradise season 9 contestants Sam and Aaron aren't a romantic couple, their friendship is very endearing. Aaron helped Sam through a very painful and embarrassing situation, and kept a smile on her face through it all. It's wonderful to hear that they are now such great friends. Hopefully, Sam and Aaron will find the love they're searching for in the very near future.
