Kelvin Gastelum’s journey in the UFC began with his appearance on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Jones vs. Team Sonnen. Next, he fought against Rick Story and won via a split decision at UFC 171. Gastelum continued a winning streak before losing to Tyron Woodley at UFC 183.

Numerous amazing performances later, the American fighter battled Israel Adesanya for the interim UFC middleweight title at UFC 236. Unfortunately, he lost that fight, and the two next bouts as well.
