Evelin Enrages With Corey Update Amid Alcoholism Claim
90 Day Fiancé's Evelin bashed Corey on Instagram for being an alcoholic and having a DUI after allegedly drunk driving. She now claims she loves him.
90 Day Fiancé cast member Evelin Villegas is slowly making viewers lose trust in whatever she says after sharing a surprising Instagram story about husband Corey Rathgeber mere days after bashing him on New Year’s Eve. One of the first couples to appear in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Corey and Evelin quickly gained fame for their unique love story. While Corey and Evelin did get married in Ecuador, not once but twice, their first wedding was a secret, and the second one happened after several divorce threats. When Corey’s affair with another Ecuadorian woman became public, some viewers thought he should pick Jenny over Evelin.
However, everything seemed fine between Corey and Evelin following months of Jenny drama on social media, and they eventually flaunted their "pre-honeymoon" photos. The couple posted content from their luxurious beach vacations and assured their followers that all was well. Besides, Corey told a 90 Day Fiancé viewer that he wished to move back to America someday soon and host a wedding reception. However, Evelin revealed the cracks in their relationship a week ago by calling Corey out for being an alcoholic and having a DUI in her stories. “Clearly this is something that couples therapy or travels can’t fix,” Evelin wrote as she accused Corey of drinking and driving and asked for help to contact his “probation lawyers.”
A recent story, however, as reposted by 90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates was used by Evelin to address any questions regarding Corey. She shared a romantic selfie video of Corey and herself and declared that they “are good” while adding, “We work in our marriage and live our love to the fullest.” Evelin pointed out that her followers don't see the wonderful moments that happen away from cameras. Upon reading Evelin’s confession, users wrote comments such as, “Hahaha y’all both need to just delete social media so you stop embarrassing yourselves” and “Just as dysfunctional as Paul and Karine smh.”
Followers seemed to take particular issue with Evelin's declaration of love for Corey. They were irked by her claim that "I am and always will be here for u." All onlookers of the Evelin and Corey Instagram drama want the Engabao resident to pick a lane and stick to her narrative. Some viewers already felt cheated when it was revealed on 90 Day Fiancé that Corey and Evelin were married for years and hid it.
Others find it offensive that Evelin keeps humiliating Corey in public and exposes their personal life online for strangers to judge it. Viewers have admitted that they’re not able to keep up with whatever has been happening in the Corey/Evelin storyline both on 90 Day Fiancé and on their socials. Evelin has thrown Corey under the bus many times before, and viewers expect her to post a new video of a story of herself crying and bashing him in a few more weeks.
