Every Canadian Wrestler On The AEW Roster, Ranked Worst To Best
America’s neighbor to the north has produced some of the best wrestlers in the world. The most notable of these are probably the members of the Hart Family, specifically Owen and Bret. But how do Canadian wrestlers fare in Tony Khan's land of wrestling?

AEW has a decent amount of Canadian talent of its own. Some have been with the company since its inception, while others have come in along the way. In this list, we’ll be ranking each and every Canadian on the AEW roster in terms of talent and benefit to the company. Let's see how well these wrestlers have been representing Canada.
10 Luther
Sadly, someone always has to be last place. Luther is one-half of the Chaos Project alongside his tag partner, Serpentico. The two of them are mainstays on AEW Dark and Elevation, where they put on consistently funny and entertaining matches. Since Luther hasn’t really been featured anywhere besides YouTube, his stock is low enough to put him at the bottom of our Canadian power rankings.
9 Shawn Spears
The Chairman is an interesting character in AEW. Way back in 2019, he first made his mark with his infamous chair shot to Cody’s head. After that, he really struggled to get any momentum going, even with Tully Blanchard as his manager.
Things seemed to pick up for him when he joined MJF’s Pinnacle, but then his momentum began to dwindle again. He’s very good in his role as MJF’s crazy goon, but it’s not the direction AEW seemed to want to push him in when he first arrived.
8 The Bunny
AEW fans, unfortunately, don’t get to see much of The Bunny, on account of the lack of screen time that Tony Khan gives his women’s division. We mostly see her accompanying The Blade and The Butcher, or standing alongside the rest of the Andrade Family Office. An AEW highlight for The Bunny is definitely the Street Fight she was in with her tag partner Penelope Ford against Anna Jay and Tay Conti.

Though Bunny lost that Street Fight, it was a clear testament to just how tough she is, and just how much she’s willing to put into a match when given the opportunity.
7 Ethan Page
"All Ego" Ethan Page jumped ship from IMPACT to AEW at 2021’s Revolution PPV. He’s a former IMPACT World Tag Team Champion alongside Josh Alexander.
Currently, Ethan Page is one-half of the Men of the Year alongside Scorpio Sky, and part of Dan Lambert’s faction. This has arguably been a big hindrance to Ethan since he is already very charismatic on his own and doesn’t need a cranky old man speaking on his behalf. Hopefully, AEW lets Ethan Page prove his own worth someday soon since we know he’s more than capable of being a star in AEW.
6 Evil Uno
Uno was kind of the de facto leader of The Dark Order before the arrival of "The Exalted One" Brodie Lee. Now, he serves as their spokesperson and helps reign everyone in when they get a little too rowdy. Uno has also gotten into great shape since coming to AEW and has improved greatly in the ring (which is saying something since he was already pretty good!).
5 Stu Grayson
Since their tag team partners, Stu and Uno are effectively even on this list, but Stu gets to be placed one slot higher because he’s maybe the most underappreciated member of The Dark Order. This could be because he lets Uno do most of the talking, or because his Quebec accent is almost deceptively genial. He is incredibly athletic and innovative in the ring, especially when he’s teaming with Evil Uno.
4 Chris Jericho
Jericho sent shock waves throughout the wrestling world when he became the first “major” name in wrestling to sign with AEW back in 2019. He went on to become the company’s inaugural World Champion and has been a face of the company ever since.
Jericho has recently debuted his new stable, the “Jericho Appreciation Society,” an attempt at satire over WWE’s brand of sports entertainment. It’s almost painfully on the nose.
3 Kyle O’Reilly
O’Reilly was the last of the Undisputed trio to join AEW. He’s the long-term tag partner of Bobby Fish, and one of Adam Cole’s best friends. These relationships, combined with his martial arts-inspired wrestling style, have helped Kyle fit into AEW like a glove. He’s already contributed to some tag team classics, mainly the three-way match between The Young Bucks, ReDRagon, and Jurassic Express at 2022’s Revolution PPV.
Given AEW’s emphasis on tag team wrestling and ReDRagon’s place at the top of the roster, it’s more than likely that we’re only scratching the surface of Kyle’s potential in the company.
2 Christian Cage
Christian Cage debuted at 2021’s Revolution (the second Canadian on this list to do so!), and he had his first sanctioned singles match in over six years the following Wednesday. He quickly shed any signs of ring rust and has established his place in AEW. Currently, he’s taken Jungle Boy under his wing and works as a guiding figure and friend to Jurassic Express.

Christian a very valuable veteran signing for AEW. He’s had some amazing matches, including his matches against Kenny Omega for the IMPACT and AEW world championships, along with his excellent match with Jurassic Express against the Superkliq at Full Gear.
1 Kenny Omega
Kenny isn’t just the best Canadian wrestler on the AEW roster, but more than likely the best wrestler they have in general. As a part of the Elite, he’s been with the company since its beginning and is undoubtedly the ace of the promotion.
At the present, Kenny is taking some time off to recover from several injuries that have been plaguing him throughout the last year. The fact that he was able to have as incredible of a title run as he did while injured only further proves that he’s one of, if not, the best in the world.
