Jericho showcased his greatness by getting Goldberg over in their build-up to the match. Jericho had a lot of offense in their tussle at Bad Blood, but as expected, Goldberg got the victory over Jericho, and he shifted his attention towards Triple H's World Heavyweight Championship afterward.

Cena defeated Jericho in his pay-per-view debut at Vengeance, and Jericho registered his sole singles victory over Cena that summer. Three years later, they feuded once again but this time it was over the WWE Championship.

Jericho turned heel by betraying Cena after their tag team match against Christian and Tyson Tomko. Furthermore, Jericho was desperate to end Cena's WWE Championship reign but that failed in their triple threat match at Vengeance 2005 which included Christian, and he lost at SummerSlam. Jericho's first run in WWE came to a halt, the following night on Raw as he lost a Loser Leaves Town match with Cena retaining the WWE Championship.

1 Shawn Michaels

Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels' rivalry seemed unlikely in 1998 with Michaels on the shelf and Jericho in WCW, but four years later both were active members of Raw. Their feud began in early 2003, and Jericho had an obsession with Michaels as he opted to enter second in the Royal Rumble match with HBK as the number one entrant.

They planted the seeds for their epic WrestleMania 19 match with Chris Jericho eliminating Michaels from the Royal Rumble match and brutally assaulting him. They hit a home run at WrestleMania 19 with Michaels beating Jericho. They reignited their feud in 2008, and it was arguably the feud of the year. Jericho lost their match at Judgment Day, and he turned heel by putting Michaels' face through the Jeritron on the Highlight Reel. Their feud continued into the PG Era with Jericho retaining the World Heavyweight Championship in a superb ladder match at No Mercy.
