He competed in a variety of matches throughout his time at these shows, from battle royals to title matches, running the gambit. Some of them were matches of the night while others weren't quite as memorable. However, Joe always brought 110% into everything he did inside the ring for these shows.
11 Samoa Joe & Jeff Jarrett vs. The Pope, Kevin Nash, & Sting (2010)
This one wasn't a great match, and felt more like an angle than anything else. Jeff Jarrett didn't tag in at any point, and dropped off the ring apron in the end as all three of the opponents beat down and defeated Joe. It was effectively a three-on-one handicap match.
Joe never stood much chance within this one, which hurt things overall. It wasn't something that fans particularly enjoyed in the live experience either, which didn't help it at all. This was one that most fans would go on to forget.
10 Samoa Joe vs. Crimson vs. Matt Morgan (2011)
PPVs often have filler matches to bump out the card, and that is exactly what this one felt like. The match was good, as far as triple threats go, as they are always more challenging. However, it did feel like a solid television match, rather than anything PPV worthy.

It's not one that would be considered a classic, but they did a good job overall, especially in trying to put over Crimson, which was the goal in this one.
9 Samoa Joe vs. Jushin Thunder Liger (2005)
Samoa Joe facing Jushin Thunder Liger is a true dream match for a lot of fans. They got to work together in 2005, and while they didn't get tons of time, they made the most of what was presented to them. They went back and forth in an exciting match filled with reversals.
In the end, Joe got the victory with a submission, which was the right call. However, Liger pushed him to his limits throughout, and was able to look great here as well. Had they had more time, this could have ended up being much stronger than it was.
8 #1 Contender Battle Royal (2005)
This was Samoa Joe's second match of the 2005 PPV, and he was the first man to enter this battle royal. He put together a strong performance throughout as well. Joe was also in until close to the finish, when he was taken out by Abyss.
It was a stacked battle royal in terms of star power, and that is something that led to audiences really connecting with the match. It wasn't the greatest match ever, as these stipulations rarely are. However, it was enjoyable enough to get fans excited, and Joe did play a huge part in that.
7 Samoa Joe vs. Bobby Lashley (2009)
This one was a submission match, and it was short and sweet. It was very physical, which is expected for two wrestlers of this style and size, and for the most part, it was enjoyable. Bobby Lashley still had a long way to go before reaching the level fans would come to know and love.
However, they worked through any limitations and put together an enjoyable enough encounter. Adding the submission element into it was a smart move, and it helped to make the match feel different, which led to unique psychology being used.
6 Samoa Joe vs. Brother Runt vs. Abyss vs. Raven (2006)
As is the case with all Monster's Ball matches, this one was complete chaos. There were weapons, big spots, and plenty of violence. That is something that suited Samoa Joe and his physical approach to wrestling. All the competitors attacked him at first, but Joe was quick to establish his dominance.
Every wrestler had someone with them for this match, and Joe brought out Jake Roberts, which instantly got fans excited. Joe ended up dropping Abyss onto some thumbtacks while he pinned Raven to get the win, after what was a lot of exciting carnage.
5 Samoa Joe vs. Magnus (2012)
This was a time when Magnus was just starting to climb up the ladder in TNA, and that led to him getting opportunities like this. With the TNA Television Championship on the line, there was plenty for fans to get invested in. They both worked well together, going back and forth in what was a physical encounter.

4 Samoa Joe vs. Chris Sabin vs. Manik vs. Austin Aries vs. Jeff Hardy (2013)
Samoa Joe was a bit of an odd one out within this match as the Ultimate X wasn't a stipulation that really suited him personally. However, that didn't stop them from working brilliantly together. It was an entertaining match filled with crazy action.
Joe did well within this one, and he certainly proved he could work this style. It was nowhere near the best Ultimate X match, mainly because it was quite short, but they still managed to create an enjoyable bout.
3 Samoa Joe vs. Kaz Hayashi vs. Low Ki (2014)
This was Samoa Joe's last appearance at Bound for Glory, and he was able to retain the X Division Championship within this one. The three of them created a fun match on this night, bringing a fast-paced energy that never let up.
All three men brought the excitement, and that was something that ended up working perfectly for them. They went back and forth with some good near falls, and that led to a great bout as Joe proved just how good he was.
2 Samoa Joe vs. Sting (2008)
There were some great moments in this match, and some equally terrible ones. The booking here wasn't at its best, and there were moments of inconsistency. Seeing them both no-sell each other's finishing move was an odd decision partway through the match, and didn't make either look good.

On top of that, Kevin Nash ended up getting involved toward the end, which also hurt the encounter overall. However, there were also great elements of it too, which is to be expected between two wrestlers as talented as these men.
1 Samoa Joe vs. Christian Cage (2007)
This match also featured Matt Morgan as a special enforcer, adding to the drama of it. However, it was all about the two men competing, and they brought a really fun match. Samoa Joe dominated this one, which worked well as Christian Cage is an excellent seller.
They had good chemistry within this one, although it was one-sided. Both Tyson Tomko and AJ Styles were around here to try and get involved, adding to the drama. However, Joe was able to withstand the odds and secure the victory, which helped make him look great.
