Every Stable & Tag Team That Edge Has Been Part Of, Ranked Worst To Best

Before Edge became a certified main eventer, tag team wrestling was Edge's bread and butter. The Rated-R Superstar did a magnificent job in tag team wrestling, and it was evident that he was going to be a huge star on his lonesome. Edge is an 11-time WWE World Champion, and he has won 14 Tag Team Championships with five different partners.RELATED: Edge's Career Told In Photos, Through The YearsEdge has been fortunate to benefit from being in some outstanding factions and tag teams throughout his career. Moreover, Edge has often gone into tag team wrestling whilst he was a main eventer which shows his versatility. Nevertheless, the WWE Hall of Famer had a legendary career, and being a tag team competitor has helped him cement his spot as a legend.

10 Tag Team With Hulk Hogan

In 2002, Edge began teaming with his childhood hero Hulk Hogan. Hogan was coming off the back of an underwhelming Undisputed WWE Championship reign. Edge had tons of momentum as he beat Kurt Angle at Judgment Day and shaved his head bald in the process. Nevertheless, Edge and Hogan's partnership was short-lived.

They were successful as they ended Billy and Chuck's WWE Tag Team Championship reign on the July 4, 2002, edition of SmackDown. It was the first time that Hogan held Tag Team Championship gold. However, their title reign wasn't long for this world with Lance Storm and Christian ending their championship run at Vengeance.

9 Tag Team With Chris Jericho

Two iconic legends in Edge and Chris Jericho formed a heavy-hitting alliance in the summer of 2009. At The Bash, Edge teamed up with Chris Jericho. Y2J lost his Intercontinental Championship to Rey Mysterio, but he walked out as a champion later on in the night.

Edge and Jericho clinched the Unified Tag Team Championship by defeating the Colons, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. It's a shame that Edge and Jericho's partnership failed to gain traction as Edge sustained an untimely Achilles injury. They were champions for only 28 days, and when Edge returned to the 2010 Royal Rumble, Edge and Jericho began feuding over the next few months.

8 The Ministry Of Darkness

In a shocking turn of events, the Brood joined Undertaker's Ministry of Darkness faction on the February 1, 1999, episode of Raw. The Brood were over as babyfaces, but with their vampire gimmick, it made sense for them to join the Ministry.

They did Undertaker's bidding but if truth be told, Edge, Christian, and Gangrel were better off as a trio. At WrestleMania 15, they helped Undertaker hang Big Boss Man after Undertaker's Hell in a Cell match. Nevertheless, Undertaker wanted Edge and Gangrel to punish Christian for revealing Stephanie McMahon's location. That was never going to happen, and the Brood defected from the Ministry.

7 Tag Team With Rey Mysterio

Edge and Rey Mysterio have great chemistry as rivals, and as tag team partners. They were members of the "SmackDown Six" alongside Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, and Los Guerreros. Nonetheless, Edge and Mysterio came up short to Angle and Benoit in an outstanding tag team match at No Mercy 2002 to crown the first-ever WWE Tag Team Champions.

They got their revenge weeks later to win the WWE Tag Team Championship on an episode of SmackDown. Moreover, Edge and Mysterio work very well together, and they recently teamed up in 2021 alongside Rey's son Dominik.

6 Tag Team With Chris Benoit

Edge and Chris Benoit have a lot in common as they are both Canadians, and both recovered from serious neck issues. In the spring of 2004, Edge and Benoit defeated Evolution's Ric Flair and Batista for the World Tag Team Championship. This made Benoit a double champion as he was also the reigning World Heavyweight Champion.

The partnership made sense as Edge was working his way back to full fitness. Their reign only lasted one month with La Resistance beating them for the titles. However, Edge and Benoit would win the World Tag Team Championship for the second time at Taboo Tuesday. Edge wasn't bothered about the tag titles and departed part way through the contest.

5 Team ECK

Edge and Christian were excelling as comedic heels and adding Kurt Angle along for the ride was a perfect decision. The trio was known as Team ECK. Angle was on a tear in 2000 as he won the King of the Ring tournament, and he ended the year as WWE Champion. Edge and Christian won several Tag Team Championships with the trio all holding gold simultaneously.

They worked together in six-man tag team matches and functioned like a well-oiled machine. Rhyno was briefly part of their group to make them a formidable foursome. All four members cemented their dominance by occupying the four spots in the 2001 King of the Ring tournament. Angle was unable to prevail in back-to-back years with Edge denying him in the final.

4 The Brood

The Brood became one of the most popular trios in WWE history. Edge, Christian, and Gangrel emerging through the fire were a great visual. Their matches were enticing, and they captivated the audience with their style of wrestling.

Edge wasn't the leader, but he was the best wrestler out of the trio. They linked up with the Ministry of Darkness for a couple of months, but they feuded with them after they left the group. However, Gangrel betrayed Edge and Christian to side with their rivals the Hardy Boyz, and they became the New Brood.

3 Rated-RKO

Edge is a tag team specialist, and he formed another memorable tag team with Randy Orton in late 2006. Edge and Orton would call themselves Rated-RKO. The two former World Champions were an exceptional pairing, and both benefited from this partnership as they went on to add to their World Championship tally in 2007.

Rated-RKO had one of the best-mixed theme songs with "Metalingus" and "Burn In My Light" meshed together. They managed to win the World Tag Team Championship at Ric Flair and Roddy Piper's expense in November 2006. Rated-RKO worked well, but their partnership dissolved with both men wanting to win the WWE Championship.

2 La Familia

In late 2007, Edge returned to action, and he was back into World Championship contention. Surprisingly, Edge formed a relationship with SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero. The Rated-R Superstar was at the top of his game here, and he captured six World Titles during his time as the leader of La Familia.

La Familia was a magnificent faction with Chavo Guerrero also part of the group as the ECW Champion for a couple of months. As were the rechristened Curt Hawkins, Zack Ryder, and Bam Neely. Edge thrived as the leader, and having Vickie by his side, he was able to live up to this Master Manipulator moniker.

1 Edge & Christian

Unquestionably, Edge and Christian are one of the greatest tag teams of all time. The real-life best friends are superb in-ring performers, and they are great on the mic. Their trilogy with the Hardy Boyz and Dudley Boyz was the height of tag team wrestling in the Attitude Era.

Edge and Christian won seven WWE Tag Team titles together which is a phenomenal record. Edge's career in WWE has always been better than Christian's, but both accomplished great things. Their split in 2001 was expected, but Edge and Christian did team up sporadically in the years after. It's admirable that both are wrestling in 2022 after the career-ending injuries that they endured.
