This all started earlier this year when Reby posted a TikTok on the first of January. She posted a TikTok with the caption, “The clown is me for staying this long.” The video showed a "fake Sting" removing his mask, only to reveal himself as the real Sting – a segment that happened decades ago in WCW. The subtitle in the video implied that someone (presumably, Matt Hardy) talked about changing on the final day of 2023, and then the next day was doing the same thing. This post could’ve been about anything, but the caption as well as the hashtags she used such as “breakup” and “liar” suggested it was about Hardy.
A few days later, on January 5, Reby posted another TikTok, and this time it showed that she and Matt were having a great 2022. There was a voiceover that said 2023 was going to be their year, and then the clips cut back to Reby sitting on a chair on January 1, 2024 – seemingly implying that a lot of things went wrong in the past year. The hashtags on this TikTok suggested that this was about “heartbreak” and “trauma” among other things. Her fans in the comments assumed that she and Matt were having marriage issues, and Reby didn’t deny that while replying to them either.

Reby also posted one TikTok with the subtitle, “When Matt Hardy does me dirty for the last time” and she was wearing Edge's merch, which led to all kinds of speculations from fans.
On January 15, she posted another TikTok with the text “When he thinks you’re lighting candles to be romantic but you’re about to sacrifice him.” One user named Robert said “Team Matt personally” and Reby responded to their comment, and just had an “okay” reaction. In her other posts, she implied she wasn’t okay and that she was suffering a crisis in her life. All of this has left the fans wondering what actually happened between the two. There are a lot of implications made by Reby. It could be anywhere from Matt not being present at home to even cheating on her. This becomes even more confusing because all of this started happening suddenly, and Matt even recently appeared on one of her TikToks and nobody can tell for sure if they’re still together, or if all of this has nothing to do with their relationship, or maybe it’s part of some kind of storyline.
