FTR Says The Team Has Officially Made a Decision Regarding Their AEW Future

According to Dax Hardwood of FTR, the tag team has officially made a decision regarding their future. Saying in a recent post on social media that the two have talked about what's next in their wrestling careers, they will tell the fans soon.Taking to Twitter, Dax noted, “Just got off the phone with Cash. We’ve decided what we’re going to do come April. NOTHING is official yet, so legally, can’t speak on it, but in the next couple of weeks, we’ll let all of our fans know. We owe it to y’all for the opportunities we have in front of us. Love y’all.” The hint here is that they've either decided they'll be leaving AEW, or the team has re-upped their contract with the company after being fairly public about their disappointment in the way they've been booked by their current employer.

It's an interesting post because there's only so much that be taken from a decision from the duo. In other words, there's no guarantee they will jump to WWE because, legally, they can't talk a contract with WWE while under contract with AEW. At best, they've either decided to re-sign or they've decided to leave and take their talents elsewhere. That may be WWE, but it might not matter at this point.

Does It Matter Anymore?

FTR has been so vocal about everything, especially Dax with his new podcast, it's logical to assume WWE might not even be interested. There's a lot to be taken from how public the duo have been every time they are upset about something and the act is growing tired. Granted, they are viewed as one of the best tag teams in the world, but does WWE really want to headache of trying to manage a team that is known for airing their grievances so often?

FTR might have decided what they want to do, but if it's to try their luck in WWE again, they need to know that WWE even wants them.
