Whether it's from GTA 5's campaign like Trevor or Franklin, for instance, or from previous mainline titles like GTA 4, you will often notice familiar faces in the ever-evolving world of GTA Online.
The Diamond Casino Heist in GTA Online introduces one of the most prominent characters from GTA 4 - Packie McReary. You may recall Packie from the 'Luck of the Irish' mission from the game, where Niko has to protect and help him escape the disastrous cocaine deal.

How to Find Packie McReary in GTA Online
To unlock Packie McReary in GTA Online, you will have to complete a random event in which you will have to rescue him from a police vehicle.
After rescuing him from the speeding transport, you will get a text from Lester informing you that Packie now owes you a debt and "this casino job seems like the perfect opportunity to repay the debt."
Completing this optional random event will make Packie McReary available to pick as an optional crew member in the Diamond Casino Heist.
How To Make Packie McReary Spawn In GTA Online
So this is a tough one, especially since Packie appears in a random event in the game. Reddit is full of threads on how to make Packie appear in the open world. While there's no concrete way to make him spawn, some players have noticed that being in a public lobby with at least three other people makes him appear.
When Packie does appear in your game, the police transport in which he's being carried will appear as a small blue dot on your mini-map. As such, we recommend keeping an eye on your mini-map all the time when exploring the countryside.
