How To Get A Distant Pull (& God Roll)

A Distant Pull is a good new sniper rifle to use in Destiny 2. Here’s how players can obtain it and its best set of perks, also known as God Rolls.

Obtaining the newly introduced A Distant Pull in Destiny 2 may be worth it for some players as this is an impressive sniper rifle suitable for PvE and PvP activities. The Taken-themed weapon was introduced in Season 21, called Season of the Deep. Unlike most sniper rifles, which work best in PvP by quickly disposing of opposing Guardians, A Distant Pull can also be comfortably used in PvE, which will see it dealing an immense amount of damage against stronger opponents.

It is not too challenging to get A Distant Pull in Destiny 2, but it does depend somewhat on luck as it is part of a randomized loot pool. The positive side is that, after players get their first copy of this sniper rifle, farming for A Distant Pull’s God Rolls is much easier because players have two distinct ways of grinding their way toward a God Roll for this specific weapon.

A Distant Pull Drop Location In Destiny 2

To get A Distant Pull in Destiny 2, players will have to engage in seasonal activities from the Season of the Deep. This is because the desired sniper rifle drops from Deep Engrams, which come from Salvage and Deep Dive activities. A Distant Pull has a chance of being dropped during these activities or as prizes in chests granted for their completion. In addition to that, players can decrypt Deep Engrams at the H.E.L.M.’s Sonar Station. Though it shares the loot pool with other seasonal weapons and armor pieces, it is possible to obtain the weapon through this method.
