Desperate Housewives may have come to an end a few years ago, but fans of the comedy-drama can still catch the show online – here’s how, including whether the title is on Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime. Created by Marc Cherry, Desperate Housewives followed a group of women living on the fictional Wisteria Lane – a seemingly perfect suburban street with a whole load of scandalous stuff going on behind closed doors. The show boasted an ensemble cast featuring Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria, and Marcia Cross and ran for a total of eight seasons and 180 episodes on ABC between 2004 and 2012.
Over its eight seasons, Desperate Housewives won seven Emmys and three Golden Globes alongside inspiring a number of international adaptations in countries like Argentina, Turkey, and Nigeria. Those eight seasons gave the Desperate Housewives fandom plenty of intense drama too, from extramarital affairs and murders to a tornado and even a plane crash.
It’s safe to say that Wisteria Lane was a pretty eventful place to live and for fans looking to relive all the Desperate Housewives drama, there are several ways to watch individual episodes and whole seasons of the show online. Unfortunately, subscribers of some of the most popular streaming services are going to be disappointed.
Desperate Housewives Is On Hulu But Not Netflix Or Prime
Perhaps surprisingly given the show’s popularity, Desperate Housewives isn’t currently available to stream on either Netflix or Amazon Prime, but Hulu subscribers are in luck as all eight seasons of the show are available via the streaming service.
While Desperate Housewives isn’t currently free to stream as part of Amazon Prime membership, individual episodes of the show are available to purchase via Prime Video and priced between $1.99 and £2.99. Seasons 1 through 8 are also available to buy and cost between $14.99 and $19.99 in SD and between $19.99 and $24.99 in HD.
Where Else To Watch Desperate Housewives Online
Fear not, Desperate Housewives fans: if a Hulu subscription and Prime Video purchases aren’t an option, there are other ways to watch the comedy-drama online. Over on iTunes, full seasons of Desperate Housewives are available in HD and are listed between $19.99 and $24.99. To watch the show in HD via the Microsoft Store costs the same but there is the slightly cheaper option to watch seasons in SD which will set viewers back from $14.99 to $19.99. The Microsoft Store also offers users the chance to watch single episodes of Desperate Housewives which are priced at $1.99 or $2.99.
