It'll Be 1,200 Days Since Someone Last Pinned Roman Reigns By WrestleMania

Roman Reigns is on one hell of a run right now. In fact, The Tribal Chief is on a run that many fans won't have ever seen before in their lives. Reigns has been Universal Champion for more than 900 days and is currently enjoying the longest run with any title in WWE for 35 years. It has also been a very, very, very long time since anyone pinned The Head of the Table.

The Last Time Roman Reigns Was Pinned

While Reigns has lost matches since becoming Universal Champion, he hasn't actually been pinned. He has been disqualified and he has even been on the losing side in tag team matches, but the last time he was actually pinned to lose a match was TLC 2019. That's right, the last time Reigns had his shoulders pinned to the mat for a three-count, most of us had never even heard of COVID-19.

Perhaps even more shocking is the last man to pin Reigns was Baron Corbin. Corbin has undergone a litany of character changes since then. As for how many days it has been since that fateful night, by the time WrestleMania rolls around, which will likely be the next time Reigns wrestles on TV, more than 1,200 days will have passed since he was last pinned.

1,203 Days By WrestleMania

That incredible stat was highlighted by Wrestle Features, and after doing a little calendar math of my own, I can confirm day number 1,200 of Reigns' pinless streak will fall on March 29, 2023. Just in time for WrestleMania weekend. Since Reigns and Cody Rhodes will likely be closing night two of this year's show, if The American Nightmare really is going to be the one to get it done, it will have been 1,203 days between pins for Reigns.

You hold a championship, or for the last year in Reigns' case two championships, as long as that, you're going to break a few records. On top of all the above, it was recently determined Reigns has sort of been a World Champion in WWE for more days than John Cena. That's despite Reigns holding a World Title on ten fewer occasions. The only caveat is Reigns has been holding two titles at the same time which means quite a few of those days have been counted twice.
