Lana Is The Sole Survivor In Women's Elimination Match
Lana was the last woman standing in the women's elimination tag team match at Survivor Series.
Nia Jax putting Lana through an announce table every week has become something of a running joke on Raw. It has happened for nine straight weeks, which might make it the longest-running angle in WWE right now. At Survivor Series, Jax and Lana were forced to team up as both were on Team Raw for the women's elimination tag match.
All five members of Team Raw were shown backstage before the match. Four of them were talking strategy while Lana stood off to the side. Jax was shown telling the others not to tag her in. However, early on in the match, Lana did find her way into the match and actually gave a pretty good account of herself.

Not good enough to impress Jax and Shayna Baszler, though. The pair made Lana stand on the steps so it was impossible for her to tag in. Eventually, they were the only three Superstars left for Team Raw up against SmackDown's sole survivor, Bianca Belair. Three then became two for Team Raw as Baszler was disqualified for not breaking a hold on Belair.
An irate Jax then tried to put Belair through an announce table, but her failure resulted in a ringside brawl between the two. Jax and Belair got so tied up fighting outside the ring that both of them were counted out. That meant, since no one else was left in the match, Lana was declared the winner. She also avoided getting put through a table. Perhaps that's being saved for tomorrow night on Raw.
The bad news continues to pile up for Team SmackDown. Even with one more match left to go at the time of typing this, the blue brand has already lost the night. Lana's win was Raw's fourth of the night to SmackDown's two. Ever since Survivor Series became a night all about brand supremacy, SmackDown has not finished the night with the most wins. Raw has won four times, and NXT has won the other.
