Libby Potthast does a lot to get 90 Day Fiancé viewers talking, but few are connecting with her latest look. After Libby and Andrei Castravet failed to secure their own family spin-off show after appearing on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6, Libby has taken to social media to share clips of herself with Andrei. Though Libby's content is often branded, she does have a steady stream of followers who support her sense of humor.
Andrei and Libby's marriage was in a surprisingly good place on Happily Ever After, as their union was actually the strongest out of the featured season 6 couples. However, viewers overwhelming panned their plotline, which involved nonstop drama with the Potthast family. Some accused Libby and her sisters Becky and Jenn of staging and scripting their drama, which revolved around her siblings being opposed to Andrei joining their father's house flipping business. While the tension between Andrei and his brother-in-law Charlie Potthast did appear authentic, many viewers slammed the family for bringing nothing new to the franchise. For this reason, it's not too surprising Libby and Andrei have not moved on to star in their own TLC spin-off.
Reddit user whatsup shared an image Libby posted to her Instagram. The photo features Libby attempting a punk look with dark glasses, combat boots, and a warped angle. "She really thinks this is a good look?," the user asked. Multiple people speculated that Libby has a heightened sense of importance since appearing in the franchise. "She believed she could what? Strike an awkward and unflattering pose? Nailed it!" a commenter joked.
Though Libby and Andrei are happily married, the duo comes across as lazy, arrogant, and entitled to some audiences. Meanwhile, Libby and her sisters always appear to be trying too hard. In contrast, viewers most often connect with the genuine and natural cast members who don't force their personalities and senses of humor. While commenters came for Libby's outfit, others called out her attitude and family. "Also - why is she positioning herself as a feminist? 'She believed she could and she did' ???," one scathing comment read. The user went on to claim Libby glorifies "materialism and fast fashion." The Potthast family business has been called out for its potentially unethical practices, while Andrei has also been slammed for his foul language and attitude.
Libby and Andrei might not be a popular 90 Day Fiancé couple with their own show, but two franchise duos did just debut their own spin-offs. Both Loren and Alexei Brovarnik and Annie and David Toborowsky premiered the first episodes of their TLC spin-off shows this week, which follow the popular franchise couples far after the wedding bells. Although 90 Day Fiancé viewers have voiced that they would prefer to see new franchise couples for fresh content, many are happy that the Potthast family's bad behavior did not earn them a spin-off. However, Libby and Andrei are rumored to be filming for Happily Ever After season 7.
