Liv Morgan Doesn't Mind Revisiting Lesbian Storyline With Lana

Liv Morgan isn't averse to WWE revisiting the lesbian storyline that sprang up between herself and Lana. In fact, she'd love for it to happen.

Morgan returned to Raw earlier this year to oppose Lana's kayfabe marriage to Bobby Lashley with claims the Russian was her secret lover. WWE explored the angle further, having the pair eliminate each other from the Royal Rumble. The storyline was dropped rather abruptly by February, however.

Lana has hinted WWE could return to the controversial bit in the near future. “I can see the story picking up any time, any day. You know?" she told Sportskeeda.

Speaking to Inside The Ropes' Kenny McIntosh, Liv said she'd love to revisit the storyline.

"Me personally, I would love to touch on that story again," she revealed. "Because I think it's so important just to show not different people but, you know, 'Hey, maybe I love this girl,' you know, like, I think it's important just to show that."

As to whether or not WWE has plans to get things back on track as it pertains to this particular angle, Liv could not confirm.

"I don't think you ever can ever say never in WWE," she pointed. "I think anything and everything is open to being visited again. Is that happening? I have no idea. But would I like it? For sure. But it was a very crazy experience."

She Knows How Controversial A Reopening Could Be

The angle angered a host of WWE fans who would very much like for the promotion to leave it be. Liv acknowledged the polarizing effect, noting there were many supporters who were happy for her after what was a lengthy hiatus.

"So I feel like, in that aspect, maybe it didn't go over so well towards some people that felt like Lana's secret lover could have been someone else that was maybe really into women, you know," she said, "but then on the other spectrum, this was my re-debut after like eight months off. So people were excited to see me and they were happy for me. But there was definitely that split with the audience, people that were loving it and people that didn't like it."
