Nikola Jokic has established himself as one of the best players in the league. Coming off back-to-back MVP awards, the Serbian international will be hoping to add the Larry O’Brien trophy to his collection. While Jokic lives a very private life, a video recently emerged showing the 4-time All-Star enjoying the off-season in his homeland.

In the video posted on Twitter, Jokic can be seen dancing around a bonfire with people. The 2-time MVP led a circle around the fire and that too after rafting. The energy in the video is paramount, and it seems that the ‘Joker’ is having a lot of fun back in Serbia.

The 27-year-old probably had his best season to date last year. He averaged 27.1 PPG and 13.8 RPG while shooting 58.3% from the field, which were all career highs. He broke numerous records last season. Jokic became the first player in NBA history to tally at least 2000 points, 1000 rebounds, and 500 assists in a season.

The Denver Nuggets big man also garnered the highest single-season player efficiency rating (PER) in NBA history at 32.85. The Nuggets finished the season with a 48-34 record and the 6th seed in the Western Conference. It was a great record considering the Nuggets’ second and third-best players missed almost the whole season.

Although their season ended in the first round at the hand of eventual champions, the Golden State Warriors, Jokic had a season to remember. He was deservedly named the league MVP for the second year in a row after beating out Joel Embiid and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

As the video started doing rounds around Twitter, fans were left in stitches. Jokic is a very calm and fun-loving person. Even though he plays a very physical brand of basketball, we have rarely seen the big man losing his cool on the court of basketball.
