Mandy Rose Reveals Her Real Boyfriend's Feelings On Otis Storyline

SmackDown's Mandy Rose has revealed how her real-life boyfriend feels about her on-screen relationship with Otis.

Rose has been a prominent figure on the blue brand lately, given that she's the latter's new girlfriend. There's also the brewing feud with Sonya Deville and Dolph Ziggler. Mandy and Otis have been hyping their newfound love both on television and on social media but she claims her actual partner is cool with the gig.

"My boyfriend doesn’t have an issue with it," she explained in a recent interview. "It’s all a storyline and entertainment. If he got jealous of this, or if any guy did, it wouldn’t work out, honestly.”

Mandy was promoting her new fitness app, Fit With Mandy, via TV Series Hub and would also discuss her career, the motivation behind trying out for WWE Tough Enough and the forming of her TV character.

The 29-year-old also revealed she was the one who pitched the Otis Angle to Vince McMahon.

“Otis always was around in NXT and posting pics of me and talking about how much he liked me. In a cute way, not a creepy way," She recalled. "This continued on and I thought it would be great if this became a storyline, especially once Otis entered Wrestlemania. I actually went to Vince McMahon myself and pitched the idea and he loved it.”

Meanwhile, Deville has been intent on a lesbian storyline with Mandy but WWE doesn't seem as keen as Deville turned on Mandy on SmackDown last week. It appears WWE is building a Mandy and Otis vs. Sonya and Dolph for Money in the Bank.

The match was supposed to take place at WrestleMania but plans changed and Otis went up against Ziggler in a singles match instead.
