MVP & Big Show Could Be Backstage

Following his return to WWE in the Royal Rumble and subsequent appearances on Monday Night Raw, MVP is rumored to be returning to the show this week. The superstar, who recently claimed that he was finished with WWE, backtracked on the revelation and has since disclosed that he will remain, but in another capacity.

WWE has been hiring former wrestlers as producers lately and MVP confirmed that's been the case for him on a recent episode of Booker T's Hall of Fame podcast. The 46-year-old is a fan favorite and the reactions to his announcement on being done with WWE indicated as much. So it will be great to see him stick around, albeit not as an in-ring performer.

According to PWInsider, he will be present at Raw tonight in the backstage, while another fan favorite in Big Show will be around as well. There's no word on how they will be involved as far as TV is concerned. Big Show could simply be visiting old buddies while MVP could be slotting into his new role as a producer.

Keep Those Fingers Crossed

Given that both MVP and Big Show have been part of televised storylines in recent times, there could be some on-screen action for fans this week. The former brought his VIP Lounge back last week and was given a bit of a beating by Drew McIntyre after trying to convince the Royal Rumble winner to let him be his manager.

As for Big Show, the towering star was involved in the storyline with Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, Seth Rollins and his gang of bastards. It was reported that his appearances were packaged in a one-time deal. But who knows?

Perhaps more excitingly, Matt Hardy Will be taking on Randy Orton in a No Holds Barred contest after the Viper attacked him on Raw a few shows ago. We're certainly looking forward to that.
