Next Universal Champion Betting Odds Revealed, Big E & Brock Lesnar Among The Favorites
Roman Reigns has been the Universal Champion for almost three months now, and barring a change of plans, it looks like he'll hold the title for the foreseeable future.
Reigns had successful title defenses against his cousin, Jey Uso, at the Clash of Champions and Hell in a Cell pay-per-views. Uso has since turned heel and is now working with Reigns.
It's believed that Reigns will next feud with Daniel Bryan, who's slated to return on tonight's episode of SmackDown Live. The latter was attacked by Uso following their Survivor Series qualifying match on the Oct. 30 episode of SmackDown.
Reigns' transition to heel has been a game-changer on SmackDown. It's been well-received by fans and pundits, which is why it's easy to believe that his Universal title reign will last a while.
But nothing lasts forever. His Universal title reign is going to end eventually.
Sky Bet (h/t Ringside News) revealed their betting odds for the next Universal Champion. Big E is currently the favorite at 2/1. It's worth noting that he was also recently listed as the 2/1 favorite to win the 2021 men's Royal Rumble.

Brock Lesnar carries the second highest betting odds to become the next Universal Champion at 4/1. He has been on hiatus since dropping the WWE title to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36.
Bryan and The Rock - who's expressed interest in a dream WrestleMania match against Reigns - carry 5/1 odds. The Miz, the holder of the Money in the Bank contract, has 6/1 odds.
So Many Intriguing Options
Big E has received a strong singles push since splitting from his New Day partners, who were drafted to Raw. The perennial fan favorite is long overdue for a major title reign, and he should be considered the best choice to defeat Reigns. The Rock is obviously unlikely to endure another title run, but Bryan, Lesnar and The Miz would all be enticing options to defeat Reigns as well. WWE has plenty of options here when it comes to deciding the next champion.
