Shiny Sylveon will be joining Pokemon Go in a future update. This guide will show players how they can find and capture their own. Pokemon Go is currently celebrating its Luminous Legends Y event that features Pokemon from the Kalos region. Late last year, players will introduce to the Kalos Pokemon in small bunches. As the months have gone by, more Pokemon have been released as part of special events. With the Luminous Legends Y event, players have been able to battle Yveltal, the legendary Pokemon from Pokemon X and Y. That's not all the new Pokemon content to be available during the event as Sylveon will be making its debut in the game. This guide will show players how they can find and obtain a Shiny Sylveon.

Sylveon has been one of the most heavily anticipated Pokemon to ever debut in the game. This Eevee evolution has been a fan favorite since Pokemon X and Y and is the first Pokemon to introduce Fairy typing to the world. The Luminous Legends Y event is broken up into 2 separate weeks and Sylveon will be made available during the second half. Players can begin to evolve their Eevee's into Sylveon starting on Tuesday, May 25th. This guide will show players how they can obtain a Shiny Sylveon in Pokemon Go.

How To Find (& Catch) Shiny Sylveon in Pokemon Go

Since Sylveon is not going to be readily available to encounter in the wild or during raid battles, players will first need to capture a Shiny Eevee and evolve it into Sylveon for a Shiny Sylveon. Fortunately, beginning on May 25th, Eevee will have its spawn rate increased as part of the celebratory release event. Here are all the different ways players can find a Shiny Eevee.

• Eggs: Eevee will begin to hatch in 7km eggs. This has the chance for it to be Shiny.
• Lure Module: This will increase the amount of Pokemon spawning in the area. More Eevee's means more chances to find a Shiny.
• Incense: Similar to Lure Modules, this will increase the spawn rate of Eevee.
• The Wild: Just check every Eevee you find while exploring. It has the chance to become Shiny.

Once the player has a Shiny Eevee, they will want to set it as their buddy and begin to earn hearts. Players can earn hearts by feeding them berries, petting them, taking pictures, battling, or visiting new locations. Once the player has reached 70 hearts with its Shiny Eevee, they will be able to evolve it into a Shiny Sylveon.
