Ranking Every Episode On The WWE Network
While it ended up being stopped, the Stone Cold Steve Austin Podcast series was an incredibly popular one on the WWE Network. Hearing him shoot the breeze with legends and current talent was a lot of fun, bringing his popular hard-hitting questions to the WWE platform.
While he now has a different show, this one still produced some fantastic moments. Whether it be old stories, shocking revelations, or frustrations, Austin always got some great information out of his guests.

So, within this list, we will take a look back at all 12 episodes of the show and rank them from worst to best.
12 Dean Ambrose
Without a doubt, the worst of all the Stone Cold Podcast's is the episode featuring Dean Ambrose. This episode was so bad that WWE pulled the plug on the series, with no more episodes being created after this.
Dean Ambrose is a very private person and he seemed reluctant to share any information throughout the episode. The two men even butted heads at one stage and it created a really awkward moment as Steve Austin tried to get something from him.
He even had to ask what fires him up, because Ambrose was so chilled. It was just a very awkward interview that sadly wasn't fun to watch.
11 Shawn Michaels
It might be surprising to see something involving Shawn Michaels rank so low, but this interview is one that didn't reveal much new information. For those who know absolutely nothing about HBK, this is certainly a must-watch episode, but for many fans, there was nothing new to learn.
This was also one of the only episodes that weren't aired live, therefore it didn't quite have the same feel as the rest. This episode was slightly more formulated and pre-planned than the rest, which had a more off the cuff feel.
10 AJ Styles
One of the big complaints about the Stone Cold Podcast was the fact that there wasn't enough current talent on the show. However, AJ Styles did appear and he had a great conversation with Austin.
It was interesting because they didn't hold things back about his past. AJ spoke openly about what he had achieved outside of WWE and compared things. Considering he was still quite fresh at that point in his WWE career, it was a very interesting listen, especially for those unfamiliar with him.
9 Edge & Christian
Most of the time when people watch podcast shows like this, they do so in the hope of hearing some juicy gossip or backstage fallouts. However, when you put Edge and Christian together that just isn't what you get.

Instead, they are all about comedy and having fun, which brought out a very different side of Stone Cold for the podcast. All three men were simply out to have a good time and that's exactly what they did, in what is a very funny episode.
8 Paige
During the series, Paige was the only woman who appeared on the show and it provided a very different aspect to other interviews. It was certainly fun to hear some stories about women's wrestling instead as well as her history in wrestling.
The only thing that held this podcast back from being one of the best was the fact Paige did appear to be quite nervous. She was a last-minute change in her defense though, as this was initially going to be Hulk Hogan, but issues in his private life meant WWE didn't want to use him.
7 Big Show
Big Show is one of the all-time best big men in wrestling, and he has a ton of stories to tell. That's exactly what he did in this one, which is an episode full of brilliant stories about the past and present.

However, while this episode is a lot of fun, Austin's most recent Broken Skull Sessions episode features Big Show and it is a much more interesting episode than this one.
6 Mick Foley
Mick Foley's podcast was very similar to that of Big Show in the sense that it's a WWE legend retelling many stories that he's already told. However, that doesn't stop it from being incredibly entertaining as they cover things in as much detail as possible.
Foley's episode just edges out Big Show simply for the setting. This took place with a live audience and therefore it had a very different atmosphere with the fans reacting to the stories which made things more fun to watch.
5 Ric Flair
The Nature Boy is an amazing talker and a very gifted storyteller, so anytime you get him in an environment like this it's always going to be fun. Ric Flair has stories about seemingly everybody and everything in wrestling, which makes this podcast a great watch.

He and Steve Austin clearly have a great relationship which is why the podcast flowed so well. It was also very insightful as they broke down WWE using Ric's son in a storyline, which was a controversial situation at the time considering he is sadly no longer alive.
4 Triple H
Sometimes when WWE puts people in positions of power in situations like this their guard can come up. It means people get fake answers that just go with the company line, but that wasn't the case with this one as Triple H spoke openly and honestly.
He broke down tons of topics from CM Punk to Roman Reigns being pushed too soon and even spoke about Chyna's HOF status (before she was inducted.) It was insightful, interesting, and most of all it was truthful, which made it a great listen.
3 Paul Heyman
It is very easy to just sit and listen to Paul Heyman talk as he has the skill of being able to entertain the masses with ease. He is just a natural talker and truly has the gift of the gab, so when you give him a platform like this it is always going to lead to greatness.

Heyman and Austin broke down tons of things from Heyman's journey into WWE to them working an angle to tease Austin wrestling again. It was brilliant and the two men simply provided an amazing hour of entertainment.
2 Brock Lesnar
When it comes to getting a major exclusive interview for the podcast, they don't come much bigger than Brock Lesnar. The Beast simply doesn't do interviews like this, which is why this was such compelling viewing.
Hearing Brock talk and give his different thoughts and opinions on subjects was really interesting. The two men happily broke things down and shot the breeze, which is exactly what people wanted from this, what is truly must-see viewing for wrestling fans.
1 Vince McMahon
The best episode of the podcast was certainly when the WWE Chairman himself sat down in the hot seat. Because it is so rare that Vince McMahon does things like this, it is always incredibly insightful.
With Vince and Steve Austin having a great relationship, things were nice and relaxed and he happily opened up about different topics. He gave very honest views about different wrestlers and his thought process of the business in what was a fascinating interview.
