Ric Flair Posts Footage Of Him Training In-Ring With AEW Star
The fact that Ric Flair is posting footage of him getting in the ring with an AEW performer is not likely meant to be a hint that a deal is close between AEW and The Nature Boy. Instead, Flair seems to have wanted to show fans that he's still got the ability to hop in the squared circle and wrestle, even at the age of 73.
Flair took to Twitter on Monday and posted a video of himself and Jay Lethal in a ring training again. He posted the video with the tagline, "Someone Had The Audacity This Weekend To Ask Me If I Can Still Do This. I Said “Really??? Naitch Don’t Play!” WOOOOO!" Some fans were quick to jump in the comments section and say he looks pretty good and better than Vince McMahon did at WrestleMania or Goldberg does in most of his matches. Others hopped on and said things like, "Sorry Ric, your time has passed..."
Flair did take a couple of moves like a bodyslam, but he looked slow (as a 73-year-old might) and spent most of his time punching, kicking and chopping Lethal, while doing his signatures "Woooos!" and the Flair strut. He could probably hop in the ring and cut a promo or take a bump, but to suggest he could put on a match is somewhat of a stretch based on the footage.

For those that know the history between Flair and Lethal, when both were a part of IMPACT Wrestling, Lethal became famous for doing his Ric Flair impersonation on the show and to Ric who was in the ring. It was one of the great moments in IMPACT history.
Does Flair Still Have It?
It's not clear if AEW would want Flair to show up considering some of the hot water he's been in publicly. All the while, WWE doesn't seem to have an interest in him. Maybe this was just Flair having a little fun and seeing if he still has it. There were certainly elements of Flair being the showman most people remember.
