Roman Reigns Beats Jey Uso In Tribal Combat At WWE SummerSlam
As Roman Reigns nears three whole years as Universal Champion, at SummerSlam, the first man who challenged him for what was his newly won title at the time got a second chance to bring this all to an end. There was even more on the line this time around though as Jey Uso not only looked to stop his cousin's 1,000+ day reign, but he also had the chance to become his family's Tribal Chief. Unfortunately for Uso, he couldn't get it done.
Roman Reigns Is Still Your Tribal Chief
That's right, the dominance of Reigns continues and The Head of the Table is still your Tribal Chief. A Tribal Combat match approved by the elders of their family, Reigns proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that despite The Bloodline crumbling beneath his feet, not only does he deserve to be champion, but he deserves to be the one who calls the shots in his family.

The Tribal Combat stipulation not only meant the title of Tribal Chief was on the line, but also that there were effectively no rules. Both Uso and Reigns made the most of that, splintering a kendo stick across each other's backs, and the latter powerboming the former into a pile of steel chairs Uso had set up. Uso got his own back for that, hitting Reigns with a Samoan Drop from the apron through a table at ringside.
Why, Jimmy, Why?
Reigns still needed help to keep Uso down though, from both Solo Sikoa and a returning Jimmy Uso. That's right, Jimmy is back, but he didn't come to help Jey. His twin brother had the match won when Jimmy pulled him out of the ring and hit him with a superkick. Jimmy then rolled his brother back in the ring, teeing him up for a spear through the table from the man who remains your Tribal Chief.
Every time you think the Bloodline story can't throw you another curveball, it does. Fans were led to believe Jimmy would be gone for weeks, but he's already back, and he has fallen back in line behind Reigns. This likely means we're getting a Jimmy vs. Jey match soon, but as for Reigns' next challenger, that might not be coming for a while.
