Ronda Rousey Wants CM Punk Back In WWE
While she’s still a fresh-as-daisy rookie, Ronda Rousey is fitting into the WWE quite nicely. She’s a huge part of WWE's upcoming WrestleMania 34 event and she’s giving it her best trying to transition from MMA to professional wrestling, which is basically all WWE fans can ask for.
Endearing herself to the WWE Universe even more, she recently tugged on the collective heartstrings of the fanbase by suggesting she’d love to see CM Punk return to the WWE.
Knowing that Punk is in the middle of training for his second fight with the UFC, she was asked if she’d like to see Punk back with the wrestling juggernaut and now her place of employment. She quickly confirmed she would but she also pitched a plea to work with him if he ever did return. She explained to Metro:
“I think everybody on Earth would love to see him back in WWE, and I would completely fall all over myself and be honoured if he wanted to be involved with me in any way, shape or form. But also, it’s not all about everyone else. It’s his life and it’s about him. He’s doing what he enjoys, what he’s passionate about and what brings out the best of him."
Rousey and CM Punk would be a dream scenario for WWE. One performer (Rousey) who came from MMA and has gone WWE and the other (Punk) a wrestler who went MMA, there are countless possibilities and storylines that would intrigue fans and be huge money for Vince McMahon and company. The problem for WWE is the fact that Punk and WWE are still not on great terms.

With the news that Punk will be officially fighting again for UFC, his return to WWE seems even less likely than it did when he was still mad at his former employer but not scheduled for another MMA contest.
Rousey seems to know it's a long shot as well. "I’m sure there’s a lot of people that wish I would come back to fighting, but you know what, I don’t fight for them, and he doesn’t wrestle for us. He should do what he wants to do and what makes him into the person he feels like he’s meant to be," she said.
Perhaps, by the time WrestleMania 35 rolls around, this is a valid option for all parties involved.
